Redd leads Suns in scoring: Suns guard Michael Redd is beginning to score like the player of old with back-to-back double-digit efforts. Redd scored 19 points on Wednesday against the Jazz as he shot 8 of 17 from the field over 21 minutes. Redd went 3 of 7 from 3-point range and added a steal in the performance. (Updated 04/04/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Redd is beginning to see more minutes in games and he's starting to hit his shots. The more shots he hits, the more confidence he's playing with. Pretty soon, Redd could be the Suns' leading scorer. We won't get ahead of ourselves, but he's definitely someone to watch from here on out until the end of the season. (Updated 04/04/2012).

04/08/2012 00:30 Suns light up Lakers; Kobe sidelined
Shannon Brown scored 20 of his 24 points in the third quarter Saturday night, leading the Phoenix Suns to a 125-105 victory over a Los Angeles Lakers team playing without Kobe Bryant for the first time in two seasons.
Michael Redd had a good portion of his prime production years wiped out due to a major knee injury and, at 32, is unlikely to even come close to the level of production he enjoyed when he averaged 20-plus points per game in six consecutive years prior to getting hurt. He has played just 61 games combined over the last three seasons and averaged just 13.4 minutes over 10 games toward the end of the 2011-12 campaign, showing very little. With a full offseason of healthy conditioning under his belt, Redd could again be asked to play a significant scoring role as a perimeter shooter. Fantasy owners should not expect him to average much more than 10 shot attempts per game, however, and his appeal in Fantasy leagues could be limited to being a source for 3-point shooting in Fantasy leagues. Double-digit scoring, possibly in the low-to-mid teens could still be within reach given 25-30 minutes per game. Take a chance on him late in drafts if you are an owner with patience and ample reserve space. (Updated 8/30/11)
