Barnes doing more scoring: Warriors forward Harrison Barnes has enjoyed a solid rookie season, and he is closing the year strong. Barnes scored 15 points on 6 of 11 shooting Tuesday against the Timberwolves, his fourth game in the last five in double figures. He added 10 rebounds in 26 minutes, for his fourth double-double of the season. The Warriors won the game, 105-89. (Updated 4/10/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Barnes is averaging 10.2 points per game over the last five, up slightly from his season average of 9.2. He clearly has a bright future, but the Warriors have a crowded rotation that leaves them asking little of him. Barnes is a solid player, but he seems to be more advanced on the defensive side of the floor at the end of his rookie season. He has minimal Fantasy value heading into the offseason. | Michael Barnes was considered a disappointment during his college career, which says a lot about how high expectations were for him coming out of high school, as he scored 17.1 points per game as a sophomore. He is an incredibly athletic small forward prospect who fell to seventh in the Draft, which might end up being a great thing for him. The Warriors have cleared out a spot for him long term, and while he may not start right away, the team clearly expects him to contribute right away. As with all rookies, it is important not to get caught up in the hype, as he is still largely an unknown, however Barnes might be worth a late-round flier on Draft Day, given his potential.
