|(3/24/15) When asked if he would like to continue his playing career in Denver, Nuggets guard Will Barton did not hesitate to express his willingness to remain in Denver, reports The Denver Post.
"No doubt," Barton said. "I think we can build something here. We have a lot of good talent, a good organization, coaching staff is good. I can see us building and having a strong future here. We can grow together."
Barton was acquired from Portland in the Arron Afflalo trade and said he likes what he sees from the team.
"It's gone exactly how I expected it to be," he said. "I figured I'd play more minutes. I figured we'd start winning more games, start gelling and get a good chemistry, and I think that's what's happening."

Nuggets SG Will Barton scores season-high 22 vs. Suns
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(2/25/15) Nuggets shooting guard Will Barton scored a season-high 22 points on 6 of 9 shooting, including 3 of 5 shooting from behind the arc, in his team's 110-96 loss to the Suns Wednesday.
Barton, who saw a season-high 34 minutes of action in the loss, has played at least 20 minutes in each of his three appearances since being acquired from Portland last week. He managed just one game with at least 20 minutes played during his previos 30 games with the Blazers. Barton also racked up eight rebounds, three assists and one block.
The Nuggets take a four-game losing streak into Friday's matchup with the Jazz.
|After two and a half seasons languishing on Portland's bench, Will Barton was unleashed following a trade to the Nuggets last season and showed some interesting traits. Barton averaged 11.0 points per game in just 24.4 minutes, and added 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals as well. That came late in the season with the Nuggets' chances for a playoff spot already shot, so take it with a grain of salt, but there is certainly something here. If he gets 25 minutes per game, Barton should be able to fill in the box score well enough to justify a spot on your roster in a Rotisserie scoring, though the Nuggets have enough questions about their rotation that you shouldn't invest much in him on Draft Day.
