Drummond plays on for Pistons : Pistons center Andre Drummond was able to play through an ankle injury during Monday's contest against the 76ers. Drummond, who was forced to leave Detroit's win over the Bobcats last Friday after turning his right ankle, finished with five points and eight rebounds in the 109-101 win. He went 2 of 4 from the field and also added two steals and one block to his stat line, while logging 33 minutes of game action.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Drummond's injury looked a lot worse than it ended up being as he was able to stay on the court Monday night. The rookie has had some trouble staying healthy this year, but has shown plenty of flashes of his high-end potential -- especially recently. The Pistons have been very pleased with Drummond's recent growth and poised to roll with him alongside Greg Monroe in the front court next year. The future looks very bright for 19-year-old so plan on targeting him in the later rounds in most draft formats next season.

| With Greg Monroe saying he's prepared to take Andre Drummond under his wing this 2012-13 season, the 19-year-old rookie center out of UConn might just make more of an impact than some believe. With Ben Wallace old and ineffective, Drummond is slated to back up Monroe from day one and should get serviceable minutes as long as he proves effective and plays solid defense. Fantasy centers being as hard to come by as they inevitably are, owners might just take a chance on the 6-foot-10 big man in deeper formats as he garners plenty of sleeper appeal as a rookie and should put up solid defensive stats at the very least.
