(11/8/13) Nuggets guard Evan Fournier knocked down a pair of treys and enjoyed a solid performance off the bench during Thursday's win over the Hawks.
Fournier went 5 of 10 shooting from the field, including 2 of 3 from downtown. Both of his 3-pointers came from the left corner in the opening quarter. He finished the game with 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and one block while logging 24 minutes of game action in a 109-107 victory.
Fournier had been held scoreless in his previous two games before Thursday's game. He has scored 17 points through his first four games played.

(4/7/13) With Ty Lawson dealing with a heel injury, Nuggets rookie guard Evan Fournier has been given the chance to show off recently. Fournier, a little-used player out of France, has scored in double figures in three of the team's last four games, including a 17-point outing Saturday against the Rockets. He shot 7 of 14 Saturday, with five assists, three rebounds and three steals in just 23 minutes, in a 132-114 win.
|The Nuggets' first-round pick a year ago, Evan Fournier saw inconsistent playing time as a rookie. He appeared in 38 games overall, and was solid in limited minutes, averaging 5.3 points per game while shooting 49.3 percent from the field. And he did that while dealing with George Karl’s aversion to playing rookies big minutes, so he should see a bigger role in his second season in the league, under a new coach. Fournier showed a lot of promise, but should still go undrafted in most yearly leagues, given the Nuggets’ depth.
