Marshall dishing it out in starts: With Goran Dragic getting a few nights off to rest, Suns rookie Kendall Marshall got his chance to show his abilities over the last few games. Marshall started his second game in a row Thursday against the Kings, and once again posted double-digit assists in the game. Marshall scored nine points on 4 of 12 shooting and dished out 10 assists in 34 minutes. The night before, he had seven points and 13 assists. The Suns lost both games, by a combined score of 29 points. (Updated 3/29/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
We knew Marshall was a gifted passer coming out of college, so it has not been much of a surprise to see him succeed in that aspect when given the opportunity. The issue for him is that Dragic does not tend to leave many minutes around for him. However, with the Suns having little to play for at this point, they might be more willing to give Marshall some leash moving forward. He might have some low-end Fantasy appeal in deeper formats down the stretch. (Updated 3/29/13). |
| Kendall Marshall is the rare lottery-level talent to enter the NBA without the ability to be a top-flight scorer, however he makes up for that with a single-minded dedication to setting teammates up. Marshall averaged 1.56 assists per every field goal he attempted as a sophomore at North Carolina, with 9.8 dimes per game. He should serve as the team's primary backup at point guard and may even see time on the floor with Goran Dragic in two-point lineups, but Marshall's limited scoring ability will likely limit him to the later rounds in most formats on Draft Day.
