Ross sprains ankle, again : Raptors guard Terrence Ross re-aggravated his previous left ankle injury during the fourth quarter of Tuesday's win over the Hawks. Ross was immediately taken back to the locker room and is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's season finale at Boston. He finished with eight points, three seals and two rebounds prior to leaving the game. (Updated 4/16/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Ross will almost certainly be held out of Wednesday's tilt, but nothing official has been announced just yet. The rookie has shown flashes of his potential during his first year in the league, but minutes have been tough to come by. While he has averaged 18.9 minutes over his last 12 games, Ross is averaging just 7.2 points on 44 percent shooting from the field over that span. The 22-year-old looks to have a bright future, but his value lies more in long-term keeper formats right now. (Updated 4/16/13). |
| The Raptors have a need at small forward, and the hope is that the No. 8 pick out of Washington can help fill that. Terrence Ross is an athletic wing who can shoot the ball a little bit, which will hopefully help open things up for some of the Raptors' more offensively-challenged players. He averaged 16.4 points per game as a sophomore for the Huskies, and the Raptors might be expecting him to step in to start from day one. That might be a bit more than he is prepared to handle, but the team has an obvious need there. He was considered a reach, but the team liked him enough to take him where they did, which may mean they will be willing to drop him into the rotation right away. He has obvious upside, but as an unproven commodity, is best left for deeper yearly leagues and long-term Fantasy formats. (Updated 8/21/12) |
