Rockets' McHale impressed with Prigioni's basketball knowledge
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(3/3/15) Rockets coach Kevin McHale said Tuesday he has been impressed with guard Pablo Prigioni's basketball knowledge.
With Prigioni gaining more familiarity with the team's system, McHale said he expects Prigioni to receive more playing time during Tuesday's game at Atlanta. Prigioni has not played more than 20 minutes in a game since Jan. 7 when he was a member of the Knicks.
The Rockets are 8 1/2-point underdogs.
Rockets list Patrick Beverley (illness) as questionable Monday
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(2/23/15) Rockets guard Patrick Beverley is dealing with an illness and is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves, the team announced.
In 43 games, Beverley is averaging 10.4 points and 3.3 assists. Guards Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni would likely see their minutes increase if Beverley is held out.
The Rockets are 9-point favorites.

|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(2/21/15) The Rockets acquired F K.J. McDaniels and PG Pablo Prigioni at the trade deadline, but neither are likely to make their debut on Saturday.
Coach Kevin McHale told Rockets play-by-play announcer Craig Ackerman that he would be shocked if either player took the court on Saturday, because he had "just met them five minutes ago".
The Rockets are two-point favorites over the visiting Raptors.
Report: Rockets acquire Pablo Prigioni from Knicks
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(2/19/15) The Rockets traded two second-round draft picks to the Knicks for point guard Pablo Prigioni, reports Yahoo! Sports. The Knicks also acquired guard Alexy Shved in the deal.
Prigioni averaged 4.7 points and 2.4 assists per game. In a backup role, Prigioni has seen an average of 18.4 minutes per game.
The trade occurred just before Thursday's 3 p.m. deadline.
Knicks' Pablo Prigioni on trade rumors: 'No reason to think about it'
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(2/7/15) When asked if he was intrigued about the possibility of playing for another team, point guard Pablo Prigioni told reporters he's focused on staying with the Knicks, per the New York Post.
"No reason to think about it, it's directly out of our hands. I focus on the next practice, supporting the guys, keep moving on. Just focusing on the team and give my best. In the summer we will see. Now just focusing on our team.
"It's not in my hands," Prigioni said. "I just go to work every day. Now I'm recovering from this little injury. I play if the team needs me and if the coach needs me. The other part we can't control if they do something. I'll stay healthy and stay ready to play wherever they send me or whatever happens."
Prigioni, who has one year left on his contract, is dealing with a hip injury and hasn't played in any of the team's last four games. He is averaging 4.2 points on 42.4 percent shooting in 42 games this season.
|Pablo Prigioni has been remarkably consistent in his first two NBA seasons, averaging between 3.0 and 3.5 assists and 3.5 and 3.8 points per game. It's too bad consistency doesn't net you any extra Fantasy points. At this point, we have a pretty good idea of what Prigioni is, and game-managing reserve point guards don't have much value for Fantasy. He can be safely ignored in all Fantasy formats on Draft Day.
