|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(4/17/15) Mirza Teletovic has been cleared to return to basketball activities with the Nets. Teletovic has been out since late January with blood clots in his lungs.
Teletovic has been on blood thinners, and doctors said, "follow-up testing has met our expectations. The most recent bloodwork was normal," per NBA.com.
The Nets still intend to list Teletovic as "out" for their playoff games for the forseeable future.

|(3/2/15) Mirza Teletovic hasn't played since Jan. 22 and is out for the season, after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs.
Teletovic told ESPN.com's Mike Mazzeo that the clots originated in his hip. He hopes to return in six months.
Teletovic will be a free agent after the season, but he said he would like to return to the Nets.
Nets expect Mirza Teletovic to make 'full recovery'
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(1/28/15) While Nets forward Mirza Teletovic will miss the remainder of the season because of blood clots in his lungs, Nets team physician Dr. Michael Farber said he expects Teletovic to make a full recovery.
"Mirza was diagnosed with pulmonary embolus on January 22 and started on the appropriate medications for this condition," Dr. Farber said. "Diagnostic testing was arranged and he was then observed until testing showed that he reached the expected therapeutic range. We are pleased to say that he reports no symptoms at this time and that he will be discharged to return home today."
Teletovic is expected to be ready for next season. In 40 games, he averaged 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.
"This was a true collaborative effort between our medical team and training staff and the local physicians at the Los Angeles hospital where Mirza was treated," Dr Farber said. "I am really pleased with how Mirza has progressed. We will evaluate him upon return, personally review all of the testing he had done, and arrange for further testing if necessary."
Nets' teammates shocked by news on Mirza Teletovic
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(1/25/15) Nets teammates of Mirza Teletovic couldn't have been more surprised by the news of condition Saturday. Teletovic was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, which will force him to miss the remainder of the season.
"It was very shocking," Joe Johnson said, "because I’ve honestly never heard of athletes, especially when you are working out and training hard every day, catching blood clots.
"It’s random and just to hear that and then hear some of the things that he said over the course of the past week of so about how he can’t breathe. … It’s kind of scary."
Bojan Bogdanovic, who grew up in the same town as Teltovic in Bosnia and Herzegovina, knew he had some issues, but not to this extent.
"It surprised me a lot because I knew he had some problems, but he told me that he wasn’t in good shape and he told me that’s the problem," Bogdanovic said. "But at the end [of the day], it’s a big problem for him and for us."
Teletovic averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds this season for Brooklyn.
Nets' Mirza Teletovic has bilateral pulmonary embolus; out for season
|by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com|
|(1/23/15) The Nets announced Friday that Mirza Teletovic was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolus, per the team's official website. Teletovic will begin treatment, which includes blood thinners. He will be lost for the remainder of the season.
Teletovic was taken to the hospital during Thursday's game against the Clippers after experiencing shortness of breath. He underwent a series of tests including a CT scan, which revealed multiple blood clots on the lungs.
The third-year forward will finish the season with averages of 8.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22.3 minutes through 40 contests.
|Mirza Teletovic found his niche last season, stretching the floor as part of the Nets' funky hybrid lineups in the second half of the season. After failing to make any kind of impact as a rookie, Teletovic averaged 8.6 points per game, largely on the strength of 1.9 3-pointers per game on 39.0 percent success. He should see a similar role for the Nets next season, and will likely continue to have just marginal value in deeper, category-based Fantasy formats. Only look his way in the late rounds on Draft Day.
