Jamison back at it: After sitting out Saturdays game against the Wizards, Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison was back on the floor for Sundays matchup with the Magic. Jamison played a team-high 34 minutes, while leading the team in both points and assists, with 21 and six, respectively. He also added five rebounds, 10 free-throws made and one three-pointer, however the Cavs still fell, 100-84. (Updated 04/15/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Jamison missed his first game of the season on Saturday, and though he was back on Sunday, it would not be a surprise to see him miss another game down the stretch, as the Cavaliers may choose to look toward the future. The veteran is in the final year of his contract, so there is not much of an incentive to continue playing him, however the team has not indicated yet that they have any plans to limit his minutes. As long as he remains the starter and gets solid playing time, he remains a high-end Fantasy option in all formats. (Updated 04/15/2012).

Antawn Jamison missed the final 26 games of the regular season last year after fracturing his left little finger. However, the veteran managed to finish as one of the top-50 Fantasy forwards in standard CBSSports.com leagues, averaging 18.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per outing. When you also take into consideration the fact that he only started in 38 of the 56 games he appeared in, it shows you just how impressive the veteran can be. While there are a ton questions surrounding the current make-up of the Cavs' roster, Jamison appears to be a big part of the team's rebuilding process. He will most likely find himself back in the starting lineup -- at least in the beginning of the season -- which should allow him to see his scoring stay right around 20 points per night. Owners should also get around 6-7 rebounds with a few assists and steals sprinkled in, which will help in category-based formats. The one red flag is his recent injury history. He has missed a combined 42 games the past two seasons, and will be 35-year-old at the start of the 2011-12 season. While he is no longer the high-end option he was back in his days with Golden State and Washington, Jamison can still be productive enough for a late-round pick in most formats on Draft Day.
