|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(3/24/15) Once again, the Timberwolves released a lengthy injury report for their upcoming game Wednesday against the Lakers.
Guards Gary Neal (hand), Ricky Rubio (ankle) and forward Kevin Garnett (knee) are all listed as doubtful, the team announced. Also on the injury report were center Justin Hamilton (migraine) and guard Kevin Martin (hamstring), who are considered questionable. Center Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and forward Anthony Bennett have been ruled out.
Timberwolves add F Kevin Garnett, G Ricky Rubio to MIA list for Monday
|(3/23/15) Forward Kevin Garnett (knee) and guard Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play Monday in Utah, according to the team.|
Guard Gary Neal (ankle), power forward Anthony Bennett (ankle) and center Justin Hamilton (migraines) are also out as announced earlier on Monday.
Garnett hasn't played since March 7 while Rubio had missed four of the Timberwolves' last five games.
Anthony Bennett ruled out for Timberwolves on Monday
|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(3/23/15) Timberwolves PF Anthony Bennett will not play in Monday's game against the Jazz. Originally listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but the team listed him as out on the injury report.
Bennett hasn't played since Feb. 20. He's averaging 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds this season.
The T-Wolves are 11.5-point underdogs on the road.
|Anthony Bennett's rookie season was doomed before it even started, as the No. 1 overall pick was never in shape after spending the offseason recovering from a shoulder injury. He appeared in just 52 games and was one of the least effective No. 1 picks of all time as a rookie. He averaged just 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, while shooting just 35.6 percent from the field and 24.5 percent from three-point range. Bennett appeared to be in better shape at the Las Vegas Summer League, and that turned him into something of an asset, as he was packaged with 2014 No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins in a trade to Minnesota for Kevin Love. Bennett is still too young to write off, but he is a big-time question mark at this point in his career, and cannot be looked at as a worthwhile Fantasy option on Draft Day.
