Report: Knicks on the verge of acquiring players from Mavs
by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(6/25/14) The other half of a trade that would send Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to Dallas includes guards Jose CalderonWayne Ellington and Shane Larkin as well as center Samuel Dalembert going to the Knicks, ESPN reports.

With the Knicks looking to rebuild, Larkin is an asset that a cash-strapped and mostly draft pick-less New York team would value highly. Calderon reinvented himself as a spot-up shooter for the Mavericks last season, finishing the year with a career-best 191 made three pointers. Dalembert only managed to give the Mavericks 6.6 points in 20 minutes per game last season. Ellington couldn't crack the Dallas rotation to log meaningful stats.

Shane Larkin sent down to D-League
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3/14/14) For the third time this season, the Mavericks sent down rookie guard Shane Larkin to the Texas Legends of the D-League on Friday, the Star-Telegram reports. He is averaging just 2.9 points and 1.6 assists over 42 games for the Mavericks.

Mavs send three to D-League
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2/27/14) Mavericks point guard Shane Larkin, forward Jae Crowder and center Bernard James have been assigned to the Texas Legends of the D-League on Thursday, according to ESPN. All three players are expected to return in time for Dallas' morning shootaround on Friday.
Shane Larkin flops in larger role
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(2/12/14) With Devin Harris sidelined by an ankle injury, Mavericks guard Shane Larkin stepped into a larger than usual role Wednesday against the Pacers.

Despite playing 23 minutes, Larkin barely made an impact, scoring one point while missing all five of his field-goal attempts in an 81-73 win. Larkin did have a good game passing the ball, dishing out five assists with just one turnover, along with two rebounds in the win.

Larkin missed some time early in the season but has mostly been out of the rotation lately due to his subpar play. He has appeared in just six of the team's last 10 games.
