|(12/23/14) Celtics guard James Young is listed as inactive for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Young is dealing with a shoulder injury, but was able to practice on Monday. Coach Brad Stevens said Young would be evaluated by the team doctor when the club returns to Boston. "He's gonna see Dr. McKeon when we get back and then can get the go ahead to play," Stevens said.

Young has only appeared in five games this year for the Celtics. Young is dealing with a separated shoulder he sustained earlier in December.

Young, who has only played in five games for Boston this year, has bounced between the Celtics and their D-League affiliate most of the season.
Young is averaging 2.2 points and 0.4 rebounds per game this year.

|(12/12/14) Celtics coach Brad Stevens said guard James Young underwent an MRI on his injured right shoulder, which revealed a slight muscle tear, according to the Boston Globe .
Young sustained the injury earlier in the week while playing for the Maine Red Claws of the D-League. He is hoping to avoid surgery, and is expected to rehab the next few weeks. The Celtics have not unveiled a timetable for his return.
