|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(3/3/15) Although Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons (ankle) and center Tyson Chandler (hip) will accompany the team on its upcoming three-game road trip, coach Rick Carlisle said he is unsure if they'll be able to play in Thursday's game at Portland, reports the Star-Telegram.
An ankle injury has caused Parsons to miss the last five games, while a hip injury has caused Chandler to miss the last three games.

|(3/2/15) The Mavericks ruled forward Chandler Parsons (ankle) and center Tyson Chandler (hip contusion) out of Monday's game against the Pelicans, reports the team's official website.
Parsons is dealing with a sprained ankle, which has caused him to miss the last four games. Forward Richard Jefferson has seen his minutes increase with Parsons sidelined.
Meanwhile, a hip contusion will cause center Tyson Chandler to miss his third straight game. Forwards Amar'e Stoudemire and Charlie Villanueva could see their roles expanded with Chandler sidelined.
The Mavericks are 8 1/2-point favorites.

Mavericks' Chandler, Stoudemire return to practice Friday
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(2/27/15) Mavericks center Tyson Chandler and forward Amar'e Stoudemire were able to participate fully in practice Friday, the team's website reports.
Chandler, who is dealing with a hip injury, missed Wednesday's game because of the injury. He is averaging 10.6 points and 11.7 rebounds in 56 games.
Stoudemire, meanwhile, was given a rest day Wednesday and is averaging 11.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 38 games this season.
|The Knicks asked Tyson Chandler to carry a heavy load over the last few years, and it finally caught up to him last season. Chandler appeared in just 55 games and his numbers went down in nearly every relevant category. Chandler averaged 8.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, while shooting 59.3 percent from the field, his lowest mark since 2009-10. Life should get a little easier for Chandler following an offseason trade to Dallas, though he will once again be tasked with carrying a subpar defense on his back. The Mavericks may be able to limit his minutes a bit more than New York did, but Chandler should be more or less the same player he has been in recent years. He will likely be close to a double-double every night, and should be a decent starting center option, worth targeting in the middle rounds on Draft Day.
