Preseason Outlook

Gasol sits on Friday as expected: Lakers big men Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol are sitting out Los Angeles' meeting with the Grizzlies. Gasol hasn't played for the Lakers since straining his right hamstring in the preseason, although he holds out hope of playing Sunday against New Orleans. Lamar Odom has taken Gasol's starting spot in the defending champions' first six games.
