Haywood struggling to contribute : Dallas center Brendan Haywood didn't do much in his 16 minutes of action on Friday night against Minnesota. He scored two points and grabbed five boards for the Mavericks in the 104-97 win. Haywood added a steal and a block in the outing. (Updated 02/11/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Haywood is more of a defensive plug than anything else for the Mavericks. But even with 20 minutes of court time per game, he's not doing much to help his team. He's averaging 4.5 points, 1.5 blocks and 4.8 boards per contest over his last five games. Fantasy owners should continue to view Haywood as a low-end center option in the deepest of formats. 02/11/2012 23:50 Mavericks edge Blazers in double OT
Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points, Jason Terry added 19, and the Dallas Mavericks held on for a 97-94 double-overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night.
02/01/2012 23:07 Westbrook helps Thunder hold off Mavs
Russell Westbrook scored 33 points, Kevin Durant added 23 points and 13 rebounds, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Dallas Mavericks 95-86 on Wednesday night.
Brendan Haywood is just a season removed from averaging 9.8 points and 10.4 rebounds over 49 games for the Wizards before he was traded to the Mavericks. He averaged 8.1 points and 7.4 rebounds over the remainder of that season with the Mavs, but the addition of Tyson Chandler for the 2010-11 season severely It into Haywood's minutes and touches. At 31, Haywood is still more than capable of putting up near double-double production if given the playing time. However, Fantasy owners should look to him as no more than a potential stashee candidate late in drafts given the limited playing time ahead of him as long as Chandler is healthy. (Updated 8/28/11)
