Mavs list Parsons as out Wednesday; Rondo, Jefferson will play
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(4/8/15) Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Suns, reports the team's official website.
It will be the second-straight game Parsons has missed with a right knee issue. He also missed Tuesday's practice.
"He's doing better each day and there are some encouraging signs," coach Rick Carlisle said. "Beyond that, I can't tell you what's going to happen."
Meanwhile, guard Rajon Rondo (knee) and forward Richard Jefferson (toe) have been cleared to play in Wednesday's contest.
The Mavericks are 8 1/2-point favorites.

|(4/7/15) Mavericks guards Rajon Rondo (knee) and Richard Jefferson (toe) were able to participate in Tuesday's practice, according to the team's official website.
Rondo was able to participate in all of Tuesday's practice and said he is moving well. He is suffering from a hyperextended knee.
Meanwhile, forward Chandler Parsons was not able to practice Tuesday due to a right knee issue. All three players are considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
Rondo, Parsons, Jefferson all questionable Wednesday for Mavs

|(4/6/15) Forwards Chandler Parsons (knee) and Richard Jefferson (toes) along with guard Rajon Rondo (knee) sat out the Mavericks' practice on Monday and all remain questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, according to the Dallas Morning News.|
Coach Rick Carlisle said he hopes Rondo can return to practice on Tuesday but is not certain on the status of Parson and Jefferson.
“I don’t know if Parsons will be able to practice tomorrow or not,” Carlisle said. “I don’t know that he won’t but I can’t say that he will. We’re more optimistic about Rondo practicing tomorrow. And then Richard Jefferson ... we’re hoping that he can get on the court tomorrow.”
Parsons left Thursday's game with knee soreness and did not play on Saturday. Rondo left Saturday's game with a hyper extended knee and did not return and Jefferson has been bothered with a toe injury.
|Richard Jefferson went from a team that barely had anyone with a significant scoring role to a team that has buried him on the depth chart. Jefferson signed a one-year minimum contract with the Mavericks in the offseason, after averaging 10.1 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27 minutes per game for the Jazz last season. He also shot 45 percent from the floor in 82 games, 78 of them as a starter. Now with the Mavericks, he'll have to work behind Chandler Parsons, Al-Farouq Aminu and possibly even Jae Crowder. Because of his current situation, Fantasy owners should think twice before drafting him. Ignore him in most formats on Draft Day.
