|(7/3/15) The Mavericks and free-agent small forward Richard Jefferson have agreed to a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum, Yahoo Sports is reporting.
Jefferson played in 74 games for the Mavericks last season, averaging 5.8 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Mavericks' Felton probable, Jefferson questionable for Game 4
|by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer|
|(4/26/15) Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said pregame that he expected guard Raymond Felton (hamstring) to play in tonight's Game 4 against the Rockets but that veteran forward Richard Jefferson (calf) remained a question mark, per the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Felton tweaked his hamstring in Game 3 and did not return after playing 13 minutes. Jefferson has been dealing with a toe injury but has played in all three games of the series thus far.
The Mavericks are 3-point underdogs.
Mavs' Raymond Felton, Richard Jefferson hope to play
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(4/26/15) Raymond Felton and Richard Jefferson are both planning to play in Sunday's Game 4 matchup against the Rockets, according to ESPN Dallas.
Felton has a hamstring injury and Jefferson is dealing with a calf ailment. Both are considered game-time decisions. The Mavericks trail the Rockets 3-0 in the first-round series.
|Richard Jefferson went from a team that barely had anyone with a significant scoring role to a team that has buried him on the depth chart. Jefferson signed a one-year minimum contract with the Mavericks in the offseason, after averaging 10.1 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27 minutes per game for the Jazz last season. He also shot 45 percent from the floor in 82 games, 78 of them as a starter. Now with the Mavericks, he'll have to work behind Chandler Parsons, Al-Farouq Aminu and possibly even Jae Crowder. Because of his current situation, Fantasy owners should think twice before drafting him. Ignore him in most formats on Draft Day.
