Randolph plays through pain: Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph said his back was feeling a little sore heading into Mondays game against the Clippers, after being rear-ended on the highway on his way to the teams shootaround in the morning. That pain did not stop him from putting up his fifth double-double of the season and third in a row, as the big man scored 10 points on 4 of 11 shooting in 30 minutes, while adding 12 rebounds. He also had a single assist and two free throws, as the Grizzlies took down the Clippers, 94-85. (Updated 04/09/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
There was never much of a fear that Randolph would miss time because of his back, however it was still a good sign that he was able to remain productive while dealing with some soreness. Randolph is starting to find his way here late in the season, after missing much of the year with a knee injury. He seems to be peaking at the right time, so Fantasy owners should continue to rely on him moving forward, as he remains a solid starting option in most Fantasy leagues. (Updated 04/09/2012).
05/13/2012 18:26 Clippers ditch adversity, advance; Grizz wonder what might have been
Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are at less than full strength, but the Clippers get strong bench play to beat Memphis in Game 7. Gary Parrish gives the Clips their due and wonders what befell the once high-flying Grizzlies.
05/13/2012 16:11 Hobbled Clippers hold off Grizzlies in Game 7, advance to Western semis
Kenyon Martin scored seven of his 11 points in the fourth quarter, and the Los Angeles Clippers advanced to the Western Conference semifinals with an 82-72 win Sunday over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 7.
05/13/2012 16:05 Instant analysis: Clippers unlike Clippers in Game 7 win over Grizzlies
Chris Paul didn't play like Chris Paul. Blake Griffin didn't play like Blake Griffin. And yet the Los Angeles Clippers still managed to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit for the second time in four games inside FedExForum to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 82-72 early Sunday in Game 7 of their first-round series of the Western Conference playoffs.
Zach Randolph has averaged 20 points and 12 boards per game over his last three seasons and seems a lock to maintain that level of production in 2011-12, barring an injury. He has kept off the court issues from being a distraction during his time with the Grizzlies and when taken simply for what he can do on the court, he ranks among the top forwards in the NBA. Not much should change up front for the Grizzlies, with Marc Gasol and Randolph working well off each other. Randolph remains the go-to guy in Memphis and should remain a safe pick in Rounds two or three of any Fantasy format. (Updated 8/28/11)
