Boozer boarding up: Bulls forward Carlos Boozer has been crashing the glass hard recently, extending a double-digit rebounding streak to four games with his 14 boards on Thursday against the Celtics. Boozer grabbed his rebounds in 32 minutes, while adding 12 points on 5 of 12 shooting and three assists, as the Bulls held off a late comeback and won, 93-86. (Updated 04/06/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Boozer is now averaging 11.4 rebounds per game over the last five games, making up for a drop in scoring to 13.8 per game over the same span. Boozers drop in scoring is not the result of a shooting slump, as he is still hitting 52.5 percent of his shots. Rather, he has simply taken fewer shots in that time span than normal. Boozer should find shots easier to come by moving forward, and should remain a high-end Fantasy option in all formats. (Updated 04/06/2012).

With the Heat down 2-1 and things looking bleak, the Bulls knocked out due to Derrick Rose's injury, and Boston on what you would think to be its last stand, all the talk about the strength of the East seems a little premature. 05/10/2012 22:02 Eighth-seeded 76ers knock out Bulls
Andre Iguodala made the go-ahead free throws with 2.2 seconds left and the Philadelphia 76ers rallied for a 79-78 victory against the top-seeded Chicago Bulls in Game 6 on Thursday night, advancing to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs for the first time since 2003.
Carlos Boozer was limited to just 59 games a year ago and saw his numbers take a bit of a dip in his first season with the Bulls. After averaging more than 18 points and 10 rebounds in his six seasons in Utah, he posted 17.5 points with 9.6 rebounds in 2010-11. He also shot 51 percent from the field and averaged less than one steal per contest for the first time since 2006-07. But the 30-year-old was productive when healthy and is expected to be the low-post scoring threat Chicago has been missing for years. Keep in mind that he can struggle against some of the bigger power forwards in the league but in the Bulls offense, his mid-range jumpshot will pay huge dividends when league MVP Derrick Rose drives to the lane and kicks out to him. He is not expected to outscore Rose or outrebound Joakim Noah, but Boozer should be able to average around 18 points and 10 rebounds per game as long as he is healthy. Health issues have been a problem for him throughout his career, but Boozer remains a productive enough option to be considered as a low-end No. 2/high-end No. 3 Fantasy F on Draft Day.
