|(2/20/15) Forward Carlos Boozer plans to finish out the season with the Lakers.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Boozer will not request a buyout. Boozer has mostly been a role player coming off the bench this season.
Boozer is under contract for $16.8 million this year and is set to be a free agent once the season ends.

Lakers' Boozer, Davis to keep coming off the bench
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(2/6/15) Though the Lakers were unable to defeat the Bucks on Wednesday, coach Byron Scott was pleased with how veterans Carlos Boozer and Ed Davis played coming off the bench.
Boozer posted 28 points and Davis brought down 20 rebounds in a 113-105 loss. With the way they played, a case can be made for both Boozer and Davis to re-enter the starting lineup. However, coach Byron Scott appears to be keeping them in their current roles.
“I like that combination and they play together,” Scott said, via the Los Angeles Daily News. “There’s an argument for everything. I don’t pay a lot of attention to that. I like the way they play together. Both of them off the bench provide us with something special.”
The Lakers are near the bottom of the NBA at 13-36 this season and seem committed to developing the young players on the roster. However, the Lakers are receiving some solid support from these two veterans, who are providing some energy in relief roles.
“We play well together," Boozer said. "The more Ed and I play together, the more we play off each other,” Boozer said. He plays above the rim. Hes’ a very underrated passer. He’s a very good player.”
Lakers PF Carlos Boozer scores season-high 28 vs. Bucks

|(2/4/15) Lakers power forward Carlos Boozer scored a season-high 28 points on 13 of 21 shooting in his team's 113-105 overtime loss to the Bucks Wednesday.
Boozer nearly turned in a second-straight double-double Wednesday, hauling in nine rebounds while also dishing out four assists. It's just the second time he's scored at least 28 points in the last two seasons. The Lakers stay on the road to face the Magic Friday.
Lakers' Carlos Boozer doubles up on the Rockets
|by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com|
|(1/25/15) Lakers forward Carlos Boozer posted a double-double against the Rockets on Sunday.
Boozer shot 9-13 from the field, finishing with 18 points. He was active on the boards, pulling down 11 rebounds during the contest. Boozer also dished out two assists and had one block.
|Carlos Boozer went from one crowded front court to another, though at the very least he should be more of a featured player in Los Angeles than he was in Chicago. Boozer averaged 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game for the Bulls last season, his lowest averages since he was a rookie. The soon-to-be 33-year-old is past his prime, but he could be a second option on the Lakers next season. At this point in his career, Boozer is not an exciting Fantasy option, but he could be useful as a low-end starter, worth targeting in the second half of the draft on Draft Day.
