Barbosa gets back in double figures: After scoring a combined four points his last two times out, Raptors G Leandro Barbosa looked much better on Wednesday night against the Bucks. He finished with 11 points in 14 minutes off the bench during the 105-99 loss. He went 4 for 8 from the floor, including making his one attempt from downtown, and converted both of his free throws. Barbosa also chipped in with two assists in the defeat. (Updated 02/08/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Barbosa has been relatively quiet since returning from an ankle injury on Jan. 31 and has played fewer than 20 minutes in each of the previous three games. But Jerryd Bayless went down with another ankle injury on Wednesday, and Barbosa would receive a boost in Fantasy if he misses time again. He is averaging 7.6 points with 2.4 assists in his last five contests and is shooting just 32 percent over that span. Owners in deeper formats should wait until he picks his shooting percentage up before adding him off waivers. (Updated 02/08/2012).
02/03/2012 21:43 Raptors 106, Wizards 89
Leandro Barbosa shook off flulike symptoms to score 19 points, Amir Johnson had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 106-89 on Friday night.
01/24/2012 23:55 Raptors win, Bargnani blows up in return
Andrea Bargnani returned after missing six games with a left calf strain to score 27 of his 36 points in the second half, and the Toronto Raptors snapped an eight-game losing streak by beating Phoenix 99-96 on Tuesday night, their first win over the Suns in eight years.
01/22/2012 18:39 Clippers cruise past hapless Raptors
Mo Williams scored 19 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, Blake Griffin had 18 points and nine rebounds, and the Los Angeles Clippers sent the Toronto Raptors to their eighth straight loss, 103-91 on Sunday.
Barbosa is entering his second season with the Raptors after spending the first seven years of his NBA career in Phoenix. He played in 58 games last season and averaged 13.3 points per game over 24 minutes per night. Barbosa is largely a scoring guard as he’ll give you at least a 3-pointer per contest. He’s not big on rebounds, assists or steals and he doesn’t shoot particularly well from the field. Barbosa is an established NBA veteran and his playing time will be shared with the likes of youngsters Jerryd Bayless, DeMar DeRozan and veteran Jose Calderon. If Bayless takes off, Barbosa could become obsolete. For that, his upside and Fantasy value are limited. Consider him a very low-end Fantasy guard who could see his value maximized only as a waiver wire mid-season pickup in case of injury. (Updated 8/23/11)
