Fantasy Analysis
Bonner has made at least one 3-pointer in each of his last 11 contests and is shooting 48 percent from behind the arc over that stretch. However, he has only scored in double figures four times over that stretch. Bonner's main asset continues to be his ability to knock down shots from long range, although his lack of production in other categories continues to limit his value to that of a low-end option. Continue to view him as such in the majority of formats moving forward. (Updated 02/07/2012).

01/29/2012 21:42 Mavs down Spurs in OT thriller
Jason Terry scored a season-high 34 points, including four in the last 42 seconds of overtime, and the Dallas Mavericks rebounded after blowing a big lead against San Antonio for a 101-100 victory Sunday night.
Matt Bonner is not a player that will be targeted in most Fantasy drafts, but that doesn't mean he will not be of use this season. The center-eligible big man is an above-average 3-point shooter who can help owners in category leagues for help in that area. He averaged 1.6 3-pointers made per game last season and can be viewed as a favorable starting option in deeper formats when facing matchups against teams that allow high-volume shot attempts and have trouble defending the perimeter.
