Diaw not scoring much of late: After scoring just four points his last time out, Bobcats F Boris Diaw was not much better on Friday against the Bulls. He finished with eight points and six assists in the 95-64 loss. He went 4 for 9 from the field but missed his two attempts from beyond the arc. Diaw also hauled in four rebounds while playing 27 minutes as a starter. (Updated 02/10/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Diaw is having a down campaign all around and has scored in single digits three times in the last four games. He is averaging 7.8 points with 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his last five contests, and is shooting just 37 percent over that span. The 29-year-old has shown in the past that he can fill up the stat sheet on a nightly basis so keep an eye on his progress to see if he can get back on track. But until he does, leave Diaw reserved in larger Fantasy formats. (Updated 02/10/2012).

01/28/2012 21:55 Wizards beat Bobcats on final shot
JaVale McGee scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds as the Washington Wizards defeated the Charlotte Bobcats for the second time in a week, 102-99 on Saturday.
01/24/2012 21:50 Knicks blast Bobcats, end slide
Tyson Chandler had 20 points and 17 rebounds as the New York Knicks snapped a six-game losing streak with a 111-78 rout of the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday night.
Diaw's numbers during his second season in Charlotte were eerily similar to his first. The 29-year-old once again averaged 11.3 points per contest to go along with five assists and four assists while appearing in and starting all 82 games. While Diaw's lack of scoring was once again the source of some frustration for Fantasy owners, Diaw's peripheral stats kept him a viable option throughout the season, especially in Rotisserie and category-based formats. However, Paul Silas told Diaw he wants him to be assertive on the offensive end of the floor next season and take more shots. Combine that with the departure of Stephen Jackson, and Diaw could finally get his scoring back into the mid-teens. Still, this isn't the first time we have heard this about Diaw, who has always been critiqued for being too passive. Either way, Diaw's ability to fill up a box score on a nightly basis makes him worthy of a mid-to-late round pick in standard formats on Draft Day. Owners in Rotisserie formats should take him a little higher. (Updated 8/28/11)
