Korver toughs one out: Bulls guard Kyle Korver struggled with his shot on Wednesday against the Hawks, missing his last five shots en route to a 1 of 6, three-point game. However he does have an excuse, as all five of his missed came after he was forced to leave the game after an inadvertent elbow from Zaza Pachulia left him bloodied. He went to the locker room, got it taken care of and then came back for the fourth quarter, where he missed each of his five shots, however the Bulls still won handily, 98-77. (Updated 03/28/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Korver is allowed an off shooting night every now and then, as he remains a sharpshooter of the highest order, especially from three-point range. Unfortunately, Korver doesnt take a lot of shots in the Bulls offense, as he is averaging just 8.0 points per game on the season, so Fantasy owners shouldnt rely on him as anything more than a short-term fill-in in Rotisserie formats. Joakim Noah figured the Chicago Bulls would be preparing for at least one more game. Instead, they're picking up the pieces.
05/04/2012 12:33 Injured Rose does his best to rally Bulls teammates
Guard Derrick Rose tried to help the Bulls as much as he could on Tuesday. He attended Game 2 against Philadelphia and hobbled to center court to fire up the fans before tipoff.
Korver had a bit of a disappointing campaign in his first year with the Bulls in 2010-11. While he remained healthy the entire season, he averaged just 8.3 points with 1.8 rebounds while seeing about 20 minutes per contest. His shooting percentages were about on average with his career marks as he made 43.4 percent of his shots, including 41.5 percent from beyond the arc. He should be more comfortable heading into his second season in Chicago but his inability to play defense limits his role a bit. Still, he led the league in 3-pointers in the fourth quarter a year ago, and will be counted on to do the same in 2011-12. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect anything besides 3-point shooting from the 30-year-old so consider Korver a low-end option in Rotisserie formats on Draft Day. (Updated 8/28/11)
