Pachulias season ends on bench: Hawks center Zaza Pachulia was unable to return for Thursdays Game 6 loss to the Celtics while suffering from bone chips in his left foot, and with the Hawks being eliminated in the game, now he turns his attention to getting healthy in the offseason. Pachulia took on a bigger role this season than his last few with the Hawks, as Al Horford dealt with a pectoral muscle injury that cost him most of the year, and he put up his best numbers across the board since 2006-07. Fantasy Analysis
Pachulia averaged 7.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in 28.3 minutes, emerging as a decent No. 2 Fantasy center when he was healthy. He showed the Hawks he can be depended on in a larger role, so while he will return to a reserve role with Horford healthy for next season, Pachulia should see more than the 15.7 minutes per game he saw the season before. However, unless he gets traded in the offseason, the return to the bench will return him to Fantasy irrelevancy, so do not target him before the late rounds on Draft Day next season.
