|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(1/22/15) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia scored 10 points on 4 of 14 shooting and hauled in 10 rebounds in his team's 101-99 loss to the Jazz Thursday.
Pachulia's double-double was his fifth of the month, but he struggled from the field yet again, making less than 30 percent of his shots for the fourth time in his last seven games. The big man also managed three assists in 31 minutes of action. The Bucks will square off with the Pistons Saturday.
Report: Larry Sanders told brass he doesn't want to play anymore
|by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com|
|(1/5/15) Bucks center Larry Sanders told some team officials recently that he doesn't want to play basketball anymore, reports the Racine (Wisc.) Journal Times. Sanders, 26, has missed the past six games for what the team called "personal issues."
In August 2013, Sanders signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension through 2017. He averaged 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in 27 games this year.
The Bucks are going with Zaza Pachulia and John Henson at center.
Bucks C Zaza Pachulia doubles up vs. Knicks
|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(1/4/15) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia scored 16 points on 6 of 12 shooting while racking up 14 rebounds in his team's 95-82 win over the Knicks Sunday.
Pachulia has posted double-doubles in both his December games, making it the first time this season he's accomplished the feat in back-to-back games. He also kicked in three assists and two steals in 31 minutes in the win. Pachulia will match up with the Suns Tuesday.
Bucks' Zaza Pachulia doubles up on the Pacers on Friday
|by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com|
|(1/2/15) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia managed a double-double on Friday against the Pacers.
Pachulia shot 4-10 from the field. He sunk all four of his free throws, finishing with 12 points. He was active on the boards as well, pulling down 14 rebounds. Pachulia also had one assist and one steal.
Personal issues keeping Bucks' Larry Sanders out of lineup
|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(1/2/15) Bucks coach Jason Kidd told reporters Friday center Larry Sanders is dealing with personal issues which is why he won’t play in Friday’s game against the Pacers, reports Fox Sports Wisconsin.
"It's personal. There's nothing I can give you more," Kidd said. "That's the way the question will be answered."
There is no timetable on when Sanders will return. Zaza Pachulia is expected to see an increase in minutes with Sanders out.
The Bucks are 2-point favorites over the Pacers.
|When he was on the floor, Zaza Pachulia put together one of the best all-around season of his career for the Bucks last season, averaging 7.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Unfortunately, he appeared in just 53 games, as he was sidelined by a foot injury for nearly two months. Pachulia did end up starting 42 of those games, though that was mostly due to the absence of Larry Sanders, who missed much of the season for a variety of reasons. With Sanders expected back for the start of the 2014-15 campaign, Pachulia should return to a reserve role, where he has little Fantasy value. He can be safely ignored in the majority of Fantasy formats on Draft Day, though he does have some appeal in deeper category-based formats.
