Williams looks good in return: Clippers guard Mo Williams was back on the floor on Thursday against the Timberwolves, after missing the teams previous 11 games with a toe injury. He played just 20 minutes off the bench in his first action, however he did not look like he missed a beat, scoring 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting, while also adding five assists with just two turnovers. His presence helped give the Clippers a boost in a 95-82 victory. "I know my role on this team," Williams said after the game. "It was just about me making sure when I came back I'm able to perform those duties." (Updated 04/12/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
The Clippers had not given much of an indication as to when Williams would return, as he had been a game-time decision for the past few games. He had been complaining of soreness in practice recently as well, so it is a good sign that he was able to get back on the floor. Williams might have his minutes somewhat limited moving forward, as the Clippers have some depth at his position, however it appears safe to get him back in the lineup as a low-end Fantasy option. 05/19/2012 18:15 Spurs erase 24-point deficit, take commanding 3-0 lead against Clippers

05/19/2012 17:51 Duncan, Spurs stay calm in comeback for 3-0 lead over Clippers
LOS ANGELES -- Not even a 24-point lead is safe against the dominant San Antonio Spurs, especially when the feast-or-famine Clippers are on the other end of it. The Spurs remained undefeated in the playoffs -- and since April 11 -- by storming back from two-dozen points down in the second quarter and beating the Clippers 96-86 to take a 3-0 series lead.
05/16/2012 00:20 Spurs draw first blood against Clippers, win 15th straight game
Tim Duncan had 26 points and 10 rebounds and the San Antonio Spurs, recharged after a weeklong layoff, wore down the busy Los Angeles Clippers to win Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinals series, 108-92 on Tuesday night.
With the Clippers' additions of points guards Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups, veteran G Mo Williams will play off the bench this season. It's unfortunate for Williams as he excelled in Los Angeles following a mid-season trade from Cleveland. With the Clippers, he returned to a more active scoring role and averaged 15.2 points over 22 games -- all starts. His assists also returned to a more typical 5.6 per game. Expect Williams to provide solid free-throw percentage and roughly 1.5 3-pointers made per contest. However, those numbers will come in a reserve role this season as he will play behind Paul. Fantasy owners should consider him an option in the later rounds of most 2011-12 drafts. (Updated 12/20/11)
