|(11/20/12) After acquiring him in a trade with Charlotte last week, the Hornets finalized their buyout with guard Matt Carroll on Tuesday and making him a free agent. Carroll was sent to New Orleans in exchange for forward Hakim Warrick last Tuesday. He did not play a game for the Hornets.|

|(11/13/12) In a swap of minor role players Tuesday, Charlotte acquired forward Hakim Warrick from New Orleans in exchange for guard Matt Carroll. Warrick played in only one game this season after being acquired by the Hornets in July. Carroll hasn't been in the Bobcats' rotation.|

|(1/25/12) Bobcats G Matt Carroll did something against the Wizards on Wednesday that he hadn't been able to do all year long -- score in double figures. He finished with a season-high 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting in the 92-75 loss. He missed his lone attempt from beyond the arc but made all three of his free throws while playing 35 minutes. Carroll, who got the start with D.J. Augustin out, also chipped in with three rebounds, one assist and a steal in the defeat. |

|(1/24/12) Bobcats guard Matt Carroll has been getting around 18 minutes a game recently for his team with some key players banged up. He shot 1 for 5, missing both his attempts from downtown, on Tuesday night against the Knicks. Carroll hit his lone foul shot and finished with three points. He added one assist in his 19 minutes. The Bobcats ended up losing the game, 111-78. |

|(4/3/11) Bobcats guard Matt Carroll turned in his best offensive performance of the season during Sunday's 97-91 loss to the Wizards. Carroll, who was one of only nine healthy players on Charlotte's roster, finished with a season-high 26 points in the contest on 11 of 16 shooting from the field. He scored 17 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, including nailing two 3-pointers and finished one point off his career high. "In that situation you kind of just want to shoot the ball every time you get it," Carroll said. He also grabbed four rebounds to go along with one assist and a steal while logging 25 minutes off the bench. |
