Childress' foot no longer an issue: Nets head coach Avery Johnson told the New York Post that guard Josh Childress is over his foot issue that caused him to miss Tuesday's contest against the Jazz and Wednesday's contest against the Knicks. He was ruled a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the 76ers.

Lopez leads Nets past 76ers in first game as Brooklyn
Brook Lopez scored 19 points and the Brooklyn Nets made their debut with a 108-105 overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. The Nets had closed the book on New Jersey after spending 35 years in Piscataway, East Rutherford and the team's last home at the Prudential Center in Newark.
