Bass picking it up a bit : Celtics forward Brandon Bass was fairly productive during Tuesday's contest against the Knicks. Bass finished with 11 points in the 100-85 defeat on 5 of 6 shooting from the field. He also added seven rebounds, three blocks and one assist to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes of game action. (Updated 3/26/13) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
Bass has actually picked up his play of late as he entered Tuesday's tilt averaging 9.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over his last nine games on 55 percent shooting from the field. The 27-year-old continues to earn starts at power forward, but his inconsistent production has made it hard to leave him active for long stretches of time. However, he could be worth plugging in as a low-end option while he is playing like this. (Updated 3/26/13). |
| Brandon Bass was a pleasant surprise last season, emerging as a quality Fantasy contributor after a trade from Orlando to Boston. He rarely blew you away with his production, but he was always there with about a dozen points every game, with half as many rebounds. His mid-range game fit Boston's offense well, and he was rewarded with a three-year contract in the offseason that likely cements his role as a starter. There isn't much room for improvement here, which is fine, as Bass should be a solid No. 4 Fantasy forward within the Boston offense. He is worth targeting in the later rounds on Draft Day.
