Bogut expected to be ready for camp: Warriors center Andrew Bogut had surgery at the end of April to clear out loose particles and bone spurs from his left ankle, according to the Contra Costa Times. He is expected to be okay by the beginning of August, which leaves him two months to get ready for training camp for the 2012-13 season, which begins in October. (Updated 05/20/2012)

Ankle - Probable for start of 2012-13 season (Updated - 5/20/12)
Fantasy Analysis
The Warriors acquired Bogut at the trade deadline last season knowing he would not be able to play, however they are hoping he will be able to solidify the front court of a team that finished second-to-last in the league in runs allowed. He was averaged his lowest point and rebound totals since his rookie season before the injury, however he is expected to have a bigger role in Golden State, so consider him a No. 1 center and a mid-round pick on Draft Day. (Updated 05/20/2012).
Andrew Bogut was bothered all of last season by the elbow and hand injuries that he suffered in a nasty fall late in the 2009-10 campaign. He played in just 65 games last year and once again needed surgery on his right elbow during the offseason. However, injuries always seem to be the concern for the 26-year-old, as he has missed a total of 76 games over the last three seasons. He has proved to be more than capable of producing when he is on the floor. Despite playing most of last season at less than 100 percent and with only one working arm, Bogut still averaged 12.8 points per contest to go along with a career-best 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. That marked the third straight season he averaged over a double-double, only this time he did it while shooting a career-low 49.5 percent from the field and 44 percent from the charity stripe. Those numbers are sure to go up if Bogut can use his right arm this season, which he reportedly will be able to do. While his injury history might scare a few owners away, his production continues to rank him as one of the elite Fantasy centers in all formats. As long as Bogut is fully recovered, he can be considered a No.1 Fantasy center heading into Draft Day. (Updated 8/28/11)
