Bogut's season in jeopardy: Milwaukee C Andrew Bogut will be out eight to 12 weeks after having additional testing on his fractured left ankle, the team announced Friday. Bogut suffered the injury during Wednesday's game against Houston when his foot came down awkwardly on Kyle Lowry's foot after the Australian tried to block a shot in the first quarter. Bogut has averaged 11.3 points, a team-high 8.3 rebounds and a 2.0 blocked shots in 12 games this season. If he misses the minimum amount of playing time, Bogut would be facing just 18 games left in the regular season. (Updated 01/27/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Bogut's devastating injury is the latest setback for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. Bogut missed the end of the 2009-2010 season when he dislocated his right elbow, sprained his right wrist and broke his right hand in a hard fall to the floor. Bogut also missed 43 games with an injured lower back in the 2008-09 season. He also missed time earlier this season with concussion-like symptoms and tended to a personal matter back home in Australia. Drew Gooden will replace the injured star in the Bucks' starting lineup. Fantasy owners should reserve Bogut in all formats and hope he can return this year. (Updated 01/27/2012).

Andrew Bogut was bothered all of last season by the elbow and hand injuries that he suffered in a nasty fall late in the 2009-10 campaign. He played in just 65 games last year and once again needed surgery on his right elbow during the offseason. However, injuries always seem to be the concern for the 26-year-old, as he has missed a total of 76 games over the last three seasons. He has proved to be more than capable of producing when he is on the floor. Despite playing most of last season at less than 100 percent and with only one working arm, Bogut still averaged 12.8 points per contest to go along with a career-best 11.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. That marked the third straight season he averaged over a double-double, only this time he did it while shooting a career-low 49.5 percent from the field and 44 percent from the charity stripe. Those numbers are sure to go up if Bogut can use his right arm this season, which he reportedly will be able to do. While his injury history might scare a few owners away, his production continues to rank him as one of the elite Fantasy centers in all formats. As long as Bogut is fully recovered, he can be considered a No.1 Fantasy center heading into Draft Day. (Updated 8/28/11)
