|(7/2/15) Free-agent guard Monta Ellis has agreed to a four-year deal with the Pacers, per ESPN's Chris Broussard. Reports say the contract is worth $44 million, with an opt-out after the third season.
Ellis, who averaged 18.9 points last season with the Mavericks, was coveted by several teams, including the Kings, but after meeting with the Pacers on Wednesday, decided to sign.
In 10 NBA seasons with the Warriors, Bucks and Mavericks, Ellis has averaged 19.3 points and 4.8 assists.

|(7/1/15) Veteran free agent guard Monta Ellis is set to meet with the Pacers, the Indianapolis Star has reported. He arrived in town Wednesday afternoon.
The 29-year-old Ellis maintained his consistent production last season, averaging 18.9 points a game. It was his eighth straight season of averaging at least that. He also shot 44.5 percent from the floor, though his percentage from beyond the arc dipped to a disturbing 28.5 percent.
Report: Mavericks G Monta Ellis destined for free agency
|by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com|
|(6/24/15) Mavericks veteran guard Monta Ellis is on the verge of opting out of the final year of his contract and will become a free agent this summer, a source has told ESPN.
Dallas is not expected to pursue Ellis, but the Pacers and Heat are believed to be interested.
The 29-year-old Ellis maintained his consistency and productivity last season. He averaged 18.9 points a game and shot 44.5 percent from the field. But he also nailed only 28.5 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. That marks his worst long-distance accuracy in seven years.
Mavericks guard Monta Ellis scores 31 to force Game 5
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(4/27/15) Mavericks shooting guard Monta Ellis scored 31 points on 13 of 21 shooting from the field, including 2 of 6 from 3-point range, in Dallas' 121-109 win over the Rockies Sunday.
It was Ellis' second consecutive playoff game with at least 30 points and is averaging 26.3 points per game in the series. Ellis also pulled down six rebounds and dished out three assists in the contest.
He and the Mavericks will look to stay alive in Game 5 from Houston Tuesday.
|Playing with one of the most complete teams of his career in Dallas, Monta Ellis seemed to refine his game last season. He took 119 fewer three pointers than the season prior with Milwaukee. His 45.1 field goal percentage was his most efficient mark since 2011. He was still among the league leaders in turnovers per game, but the Mavericks relied heavily on his ball handling -- especially while Devin Harris sat for most of the season. This year he'll have Chandler Parsons to ease some of the playmaking burden. But that shouldn't affect his assists, which hovered in the five-to-six range per game all year. However, it could help him get back over 20 points per game and allow him to conserve energy to shoot passing lanes more for more steals. Guard is deep, but while many might reach early for trendier guys like Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic you can fill a more shallow position and grab Ellis a round later. He finished slightly behind them in Fantasy points per game, but he has a more proven track record than either.
