Gelabale back to the bench: Timberwolves forward Mickael Gelabale has barely seen the floor in recent games, thanks to the return of Andrei Kirilenko to the lineup. Gelabale played just the final three-plus minutes Tuesday against the Pistons, in a 105-82 blowout win. He missed his lone field-goal attempt, while grabbing one rebound in the game. | Fantasy Analysis |
Gelabale was averaging 27.4 minutes per game over the first 10 games of March, but has played just 11 minutes in four games since. He was pretty much only playing due to injuries, and the Timberwolves are healthy now. At this point, Gelabale is likely done as a major contributor to the rotation, barring further injury. He is averaging a career-high 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, and might have done enough to earn himself another contract this offseason. For now, however, he has no Fantasy value moving forward. (Updated 3/27/13). |
