Gomes drops 20 in first half: Minnesota G Ryan Gomes scored 20 of his 26 points in the first half as the Timberwolves defeated Memphis 109-102 on Saturday. In 35 minutes of play, Gomes shot 10 of 14 from the field while adding four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. It was the first time in his last five games that Gomes has eclipsed the 20-point mark.
