| Fantasy Analysis |
The 27-year-old Green sat on Saturday and played 15 minutes combined in his previous two games. He's scored just two points since dropping 19 on the Hawks back on March 25. Green is active and healthy, but has low-end Fantasy value in all leagues. (Updated 4/1/13). |
| Lost in the D-League for years, former first-round pick Gerald Green burst back onto the NBA scene in a big way last season. The 26-year-old emerged in the middle of the season as a sixth-man for the Nets, and managed to score 12.9 points per game in 31 contests. Green managed to harness his athletic ability and seemed to find a jump shot -- though the highlight-reel dunks were still very much a part of his game. He broke out with 26 points on March 10, and he averaged 14.6 points per game in 25 contests from that point on. He earned a three-year contract with the Pacers in the offseason, where he will likely serve as the primary backup at both wing spots. His track record is spotty, but Green could emerge as a viable low-end Fantasy option in many formats, if his breakout proves sustainable. (Updated 10/14/12) |
