Jarrett Jack scores 31 points in Cavs' win
by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3/23/14) Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack came up big again on Sunday, scoring 31 points and handing out 10 assists in a 105-100 victory over the Knicks in New York.

Jack shot 13 of 19 from the floor, including 1 of 2 from downtown, and 4 of 5 from the free throw line. He also contributed with five rebounds and one block while logging 42 minutes of game action.

Jack became the first player to record at least 30 points and 10 assists in a game since LeBron James. He has stepped up in the absence of Kyrie Irving, averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds over his last five games.
Jarrett Jack shines without Kyrie Irving
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/18/14) Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack played a larger than usual role in Tuesday's game against the Heat, as a result of Kyrie Irving's bicep injury.

Jack played 42 minutes in the game, and recorded his best scoring performance of the season by scoring 22 points on 8 of 13 shooting. He made 4 of 6 from three-point range and filled up the box score with four rebounds, four assists and a block, while turning the ball over three times in the 100-96 loss.

Jack has now scored in double figures in five of the last six games, a good sign given his struggles as season long. He is still averaging just 8.9 points per game, and only got his field-goal percentage above 40 percent with Tuesday's showing.

Sore knee has bothered Jarrett Jack all season
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(3/3/14) Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack has been bothered by a sore knee all season, The News-Herald reports, adding that he has felt better since being able to rest during the All-Star break.

"The pain is a little more tolerant than before," Jack said. "I’m never going to have doctor before or after my name. It was just pain. I’m just happy at this point in the season — that’s when those types of injuries usually flare up — it has calmed down a little bit. I’ve been able to be more myself. It’s allowed me to have more of a burst to get into the paint."

Jack will likely move back to the bench when the rest of the Cleveland backcourt gets healthy. He has averaged 8.6 points and 3.8 assists over 59 games played.

Jarrett Jack goes off for season-high in win
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(2/27/14) Cavaliers guard Jarrett Jack bounced back from a series of quiet performances with one of his best of the year Wednesday, in a 114-104 win over the Thunder.

Jack, who had scored just 27 points in his previous three games combined, put up a season-high 21 points in the big win. He shot 6 of 14 from the field but added three 3-pointers while going 6 for 6 at the free-throw line. The veteran also chipped in four assists and three rebounds, while turning the ball over just once in 39 minutes.

Jack has struggled through a miserable month of February, so hopefully Wednesday can be a sign of good things to come. He is averaging just 7.9 points and 4.4 assists per game with one game left in the month.

Kings, Cavaliers discuss potential Jarrett Jack deal
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2/18/14) The Kings and Cavaliers have held discussions regarding Cleveland guard Jarrett Jack, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Jack, who has also been targeted by the Nets in trade talks, is owed $6.3 million per year for the next three seasons, but only the next two are fully guaranteed. He has averaged 8.5 points and 3.7 assists over 51 games played.
