Fantasy Analysis
Jack was quite good in replacing Chris Paul this season, average 15.6 points, 6.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game career highs across the board. The 28-year-old dealt with injuries throughout, missing 11 games, however he was solid whenever he played and should return to that same level of effectiveness in the coming season. He should be considered a solid Fantasy option at the guard position, one worth selecting with an early middle round pick on Draft Day. (Updated 05/20/2012).

Jarrett Jack is among the top backup point guards in the NBA and, as such, will make for one of the better handcuff options in Fantasy hoops again this season. Fantasy owners who select Chris Paul in Round 1 could get an above-average insurance policy in Jack in the late rounds. Jack averaged 12-5-4 over 15 starts last season, including over a steal per game. He offers high-end free-throw shooting and will be useful in spurts this season even in his backup role. So while he should not be targeted until possibly the last couple of rounds in any Fantasy draft, he should be considered a worthwhile investment. (Updated 8/28/11)
