|(4/2/15) Clippers point guard Chris Paul scored a season-high 41 points on 13 of 21 shooting, including 5 of 9 shooting from 3-point range, while dishing out 17 assists in his team's 126-122 win over the Blazers Wednesday.
Paul matched his season high in assists while posting his best scoring performance of the season, leading the Clippers to a win despite entering halftime down 13 points. The point guard also kicked in five rebounds and four steals in 39 minutes.
The Clippers will match up with the Nuggets Saturday.
Clippers coach Doc Rivers would rest players down the season's stretch run
|(3/24/15) Clippers coach Doc Rivers recently indicated he would consider resting his key players during the 11 remaining regular-season games if he believes it will help during the playoffs, reports the L.A. Daily News.|
Point guard Chris Paul has never played in all 82 games but has been in 71 so far this season. Paul will be 30 in May and Rivers said if a game off is best for the team's quarterback, then so be it.
“The 82 thing is an individual thing,” Rivers said of Paul’s goal to play all 82 games. “That does nothing for our team. If resting him at some point we feel is the best thing for him, then he’s going to have to take that hit.”
Starting small forward Matt Barnes is 35. Blake Griffin is five games into a return after being out five weeks with an elbow injury.
DeAndre Jordan has played in 311 consecutive regular-season games, the longest active streak in the league.
The Clippers currently hold the fifth spot in the Western Conference.
Clippers G Chris Paul doubles up in win over Pelicans

This is the fifth game in a row that Paul has recorded over 20 points.
Chris Paul scores 30 in Clippers' win
|by Shawn Krest | CBSSports.com|
|(3/21/15) Chris Paul scored 30 points and dished out 45 assists in the Clippers' 113-99 win over the Wizards on Friday.
Paul hit 12 of 21 shots and added six rebounds to help lead the Clippers, who next host the Pelicans on Sunday.
|Before shoulder and hamstring injuries slowed him down in the second half, Chris Paul was well on his way to being a top-five Fantasy scorer overall. In standard points leagues, Paul still finished ahead of Damian Lillard despite playing 20 fewer games. Paul will turn 30 this season, but don't expect age to slow him down. It will take another serious injury, such as the separated shoulder that knocked him out for the entire month of January, to keep him from averaging close to the 19.6 points, 11.2 assists and 2.4 steals per game he logged before getting hurt. Blake Griffin broke out as the Clippers go-to guy on offense this year, but Paul's role as floor general will still have him putting up huge numbers on a nightly basis. He's the best point guard in the league and should be drafted as such this season. Take him in the top half of Round 1.
