Paul battles through sore groin: Clippers guard Chris Paul suffered a re-aggravation of his lingering groin injury during Game 5 vs. the Grizzlies, however unsurprisingly, he played through it on Friday as the Clippers tried to close the series out in Game 6. While Paul was able to play, he seemed limited by the injury, finishing with a personal series-low of 11 points on 4 of 9 shooting. He did grab five rebounds and dish out seven assists, with three steals as well, however he clearly did not seem 100 percent comfortable as he fouled out after 35 minutes and the Clippers fell, 90-88. Fantasy Analysis
The best possible thing for Pauls health would have been for the Clippers to close the series out and hopefully get some extra time off before the next series begins, but now he will have to fight through the pain again on Sunday for Game 7. He will try to push the Clippers to the second round of the playoffs on Sunday, and remains a must-start Fantasy option despite the lingering soreness. (Updated 05/12/2012).

05/21/2012 00:48 Feeling the pain of another playoff loss, Paul vows: 'This isn't it'
LOS ANGELES -- Chris Paul had a turnover and an off-balance miss in the final 30 seconds as the Spurs held on to remain undefeated in the playoffs -- and 18-0 since April 11 -- with a 102-99 victory over the Clippers Sunday night. With their second straight sweep, the Spurs advanced to the Western Conference finals for the first time since 2008.
After weeks of speculation regarding where he was going to play this season, G Chris Paul finally has a new home. And it's an ideal spot for him -- and Fantasy owners. Paul, widely considered one of the NBA's premier point guards, joins budding stars Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan with the Clippers for the 2011-12 campaign. The 26-year-old averaged 15.9 points and 9.8 assists per game last season with New Orleans. The scoring output was a career low, but Paul will likely see that total rise as he is completely recovered from knee surgery in 2010. His assist clip certainly will see a boost as he develops a bond with Griffin and Jordan, and he's a good bet to average a double-double for the fourth time in his career. Fantasy owners should feel confident selecting him in the first round of all 2011-12 drafts.
