|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(2/25/15) Free-agent point guard Nate Robinson has interest in joining the Bulls, USA Today Sports reports.
Robinson averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 assists in 33 games with the Nuggets before being traded to the Celtics, who waived the point guard. He spent the entire 2012-13 season with the Bulls and received significant playing time, as Rose missed the entire season while recovering from a torn ACL. Robinson averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists in his only season in Chicago while playing all 82 games.
The Bulls announced Tuesday that point guard Derrick Rose will require surgery after suffering a medial meniscus tear in his right knee for the second time in two seasons.

Reports: Celtics complete buyout of guard Nate Robinson
|by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com|
|(1/14/15) The Celtics have completed the buyout of guard Nate Robinson's contract, according to multiple reports. He is now a free agent.
Robinson was acquired in a trade Tuesday with the Nuggets. He averaged 5.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 14.1 minutes per game in 33 appearances for Denver this season.
|The Nuggets were battered with injuries last season and will likely be without some of their role players at the start of 2014-15. Nate Robinson is candidate to miss the start of the season. After joining the Nuggets last summer, Robinson played 44 games before his season ended on Jan. 29 with a torn left ACL. The season will start in late October, so he'll be roughly nine months removed from the procedure. His chances of returning by the start of this season aren't all that great, so you'll have to monitor his status before the opener. Still, Robinson averaged 10.4 points and 2.5 assists per game with a 42.8 shooting percentage before the injury, which is a dropoff from his numbers in 2012-13 with the Bulls. We expect him to be eased back into game action, so he could be in for another dropoff in scoring. Ignore him in most formats come Draft Day.
