Williams not shooting well : 76ers guard Lou Williams' shooting struggles continued during Tuesday night's contest against the Heat. Williams made just six of his 17 field-goal attempts in the 99-93 defeat, finishing with 18 points. He went 2 for 6 from downtown and also added five rebounds, five assists and one steal to his stat line, while logging 30 minutes off the bench. (Updated 04/04/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Williams is making just 36 percent of his field-goal attempts over his last five contests as he stuck in a mini shooting slump. However, this is nothing new for the 25-year-old, who has always been a streaky shooter over his career. Fantasy owners know by now you have to take the good with the bad from Williams, so leave him active in the majority of formats moving forward. (Updated 04/04/2012).

05/25/2012 11:49 Sixers-Celtics Game 7: 30 years later, the Sixers need a new Andrew Toney
The Sixers beat the Celtics 30 years ago in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals behind 34 points from Andrew Toney. Can anyone on the modern day Sixers step up in Game 7 Saturday to lead them past Boston's Big 3?
05/23/2012 22:56 76ers drop Celtics, force Game 7
Jrue Holiday scored 20 points, and Elton Brand had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the tough-and-determined Philadelphia 76ers past the Celtics, 82-75 on Wednesday night to send the Eastern Conference semifinals back to Boston for Game 7.
Williams was drafted out of high school so he’s entering his seventh NBA season as just a 24-year-old. After starting 38 games in 2009-10, Williams became a bench role player last year for Doug Collins and the Sixers and wasn’t even the top bench player on the team with Thaddeus Young considered the Sixers’ sixth man. But he put together another fine season with 13.7 points, 3.4 assists and 1.2 3-pointers per game over 23 minutes per contest. Philadelphia has such a young nucleus of players that Williams’ role doesn’t figure to change next to Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Jodie Meeks in the backcourt. Williams’ numbers have been consistent over his last four seasons and Fantasy owners can expect another 23-25 minutes per game this year. He certainly isn’t someone to covet in Fantasy drafts, but can be taken in the very late rounds. Consider him just inside the top 70 Fantasy guards on Draft Day. (Updated 8/23/11)
