Lakers PG Ronnie Price hoping to stick around next season

|(4/14/15) Lakers guard Ronnie Price, who has been sidelined for seven weeks following elbow surgery, is seeking to remain with the team next season. He told the Los Angeles Daily News that he would be willing to stick around even as a third-stringer.
Price racked up more minutes (982) in the first half of this year than he had in any full season previously. He averaged 5.1 points and 3.8 assists in 43 games before going down. He told the team website that he was grateful to the Lakers for allowing him to display his talents.
Report: Lakers to apply for hardship exception with Ronnie Price

|(3/3/15) The Lakers are reportedly planning to apply for a hardship exception given the injury to Ronnie Price, according to the L.A. Times.
If granted the exception, the team would be able to sign a 16th player to their active roster, but would still only have 11 players able to play. Five players, including Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Julius Randle and Price are all out for the remainder of the season with injuries.

|(2/25/15) The Lakers announced Wednesday guard Ronnie Price underwent elbow surgery and will be out six to eight weeks.
The surgery removed bone spurs and bone chips from his right elbow. Price had been dealing with the discomfort in his elbow for more than a month.
Guards Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson are expected to see their roles increased with Price out.

|(2/6/15) Lakers coach Byron Scott said Friday that point guard Ronnie Price will not play until after the All-Star break, the Orange County Register reports.
While Price is dealing with an elbow injury, Scott wants to figure out his best lineups before the break. Price hasn't played in any of the team's last four games. He has averaged 5.2 points and 3.7 assists in 22.9 minutes per game over 41 appearances, 20 in the starting lineup.
