Bynum back against Wizards: Pistons guard Will Bynum (illness) was cleared to play on Monday at Washington, reports NBA.com. Bynum missed Saturday's game at New York with a virus. Bynum returned for 18 minutes and went 2 of 7 from the field to score five points. He added two rebounds and one steal for the Pistons. (Updated 03/26/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Bynum has seen limited production of late and the guard has really not made much of an impact this season with Detroit. The fourth-year guard is averaging just 5.1 points per game this season, so continue to ignore him in all formats. (Updated 03/26/2012).
03/24/2012 23:22 Knicks have way with Pistons
Tyson Chandler had 15 points and tied a season high with 17 rebounds, and the New York Knicks rebounded from their first loss under Mike Woodson by routing the Detroit Pistons for the third time this season, 101-79 on Saturday night.
03/23/2012 22:08 Wade, Heat win fourth straight
LeBron James had 17 points and 10 assists to lead the Miami Heat to their fourth straight victory, 88-73 over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night.
Will Bynum has shown the potential to be an above-average NBA point guard, but seems destined to be a role player. The addition of Brandon Knight with the eighth pick in this summer's draft likely reduces Bynum to a third-string role this season, barring injuries. That should mean even less playing time than he received in 2010-11, a season in which he averaged just 18.4 minutes per game. Don't sleep on Bynum, however. He averaged 16-3-2 with 1.8 steals per game in five starts last season and is capable of that type of productivity if given the chance. (Updated 8/28/11)
