Bynum makes return for Detroit: Pistons guard Will Bynum returned to the court on Friday night against the Nets after missing 15 games with an ankle injury. Fantasy Analysis
Bynum will have to fight with Ben Gordon, Brandon Knight and Rodney Stuckey for minutes as Detroit's backcourt is crowded. Fantasy owners should keep tabs on Bynum now that he's back in action. He's not worth much right now in any Fantasy format, but things can change as the season drags on. (Updated 02/10/2012).
01/31/2012 22:16 Knicks get 25 from Melo in return
Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points in his return to the lineup, Landry Fields added 16 of his 18 in a flawless first half, and the New York Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak with a 113-86 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
01/28/2012 21:30 Iguodala has triple-double in Sixers win
Andre Iguodala recorded the eighth triple-double of his career with 10 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds, and the Philadelphia 76ers won their second straight game with a 95-74 victory over the struggling Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
Will Bynum has shown the potential to be an above-average NBA point guard, but seems destined to be a role player. The addition of Brandon Knight with the eighth pick in this summer's draft likely reduces Bynum to a third-string role this season, barring injuries. That should mean even less playing time than he received in 2010-11, a season in which he averaged just 18.4 minutes per game. Don't sleep on Bynum, however. He averaged 16-3-2 with 1.8 steals per game in five starts last season and is capable of that type of productivity if given the chance. (Updated 8/28/11)
