Fishers role continues to be limited: While he does start and hit the occasional big shot, Lakers G Derek Fisher doesnt play much of a role in the Lakers offense anymore, a trend that continued on Monday in Philadelphia, when he scored just six points on 3 of 7 shooting in 27 minutes of a 95-90 loss to the 76ers. He did have a season-high in rebounds in the game, however that amounted to just six, while he also had three assists. (Updated 02/06/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Fisher hasnt averaged double-digits in scoring in five years, and his scoring has fallen to 5.3 points per game this season, his worst mark since he was a rookie back in 1996. While he has seen a resurgence in his assist numbers with the removal of the triangle offense putting more playmaking duties in his hands, he still isnt productive enough to be more than a low-end Fantasy option in most formats.
