McGrady back on the court: Hawks guard Tracy McGrady returned to the floor for the first time in three games on Wednesday, playing 21 minutes off the bench as the Hawks took down the Bobcats, 120-93. McGrady struggled with his shot, scoring no points on three attempts, however he filled in the box score in other ways, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out five assists. (Updated 04/04/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
McGrady had not played as much as 20 minutes since March 18, a span of nine games. He has been taking plenty of days off in the meantime, and at this point should not be on anyones Fantasy radar, especially after finishing March with a 3.1 points per game average. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy formats. (Updated 04/04/2012).
05/11/2012 02:41 Hawks-Celtics Game 6: Hawks continue their stay in purgatory
The Atlanta Hawks lost Game 6 Thursday to the Celtics. Where will they go from here? Never improving, never declining, the Hawks will likely remain an Eastern Conference prop stuck in purgatory.
05/06/2012 21:42 Celtics blow out Hawks, lead series 3-1
Paul Pierce scored 24 points in 18 minutes and the Boston Celtics opened a 37-point third-quarter lead before coasting to a 101-79 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
05/05/2012 01:19 Shaky Celtics pull out win in Game 3, but know they must improve
With Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen back, and the Hawks' Josh Smith out, the Celtics squeak out an OT win for a 2-1 series lead. They'll take it, but Jeff Goodman says they won't get far playing like this.
05/04/2012 23:04 Celtics 90 Hawks 84: That's who the Celtics are
The Celtics beat the Hawks in overtime in Game 3 because of their self-identity as a team that wins close games, despite a horrible performance team-wide.
Long gone are the days when G Tracy McGrady was a premier player, but he is still hanging around the NBA as one of the more talented role players in the league. Injuries have crippled his career over the past four years, but he continues to find work and signed with Atlanta in the offseason. McGrady will not excel in any particular category but given roughly 25 minutes a night, he can still chip in decent numbers. Last season, he averaged eight points and four rebounds per game to give owners in category-based formats a viable low-end starting option. While Fantasy owners should no longer look to him as a regular staring option in any format, he will be worth taking a late-round flier on in deeper formats. (Updated 12/16/11)
