Wallace a non-factor for Pistons : Pistons center Ben Wallace once again was not much of a factor during Sunday night's contest against the Celtics. Wallace failed to score in the 96-81 victory, missing his lone field-goal attempt. He also missed both of free-throw attempts and grabbed just three rebounds, while logging 15 minutes of game action. Fantasy Analysis
Wallace continues to start for the Pistons, but hasn't been doing much of late. He has failed to score in eight of his last 11 contests and is averaging just 5.2 rebounds over that stretch. While the 37-year-old has managed to put together a decent career in Detroit, owners should leave him on the waiver wire in all formats moving forward. (Updated 02/19/2012).
03/26/2012 22:04 Stuckey's last-second shot lifts Pistons
Rodney Stuckey scored half of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, including the winning 20-foot jumper with 0.2 seconds left, and the offensively-challenged Detroit Pistons ended a five-game losing streak by erasing a 13-point deficit to beat the Washington Wizards 79-77 Monday night.
Ben Wallace has one more year left on his contract, which will probably be his last season in the NBA. Coming off a year in which he averaged just 6.5 rebounds to go with 2.9 points per game, his days as a useful Fantasy option have long since ended. He did average 8.7 rebounds per game just two seasons ago, but seems unlikely to repeat that level of rebounding as long as Greg Monroe is healthy this season. As a result, he should be left on the waiver wire in Fantasy leagues this season, though he can still be relied upon for about a block per game if you need some help in deeper category leagues in that area.
