News: Free agent PG Damon Jones has signed with Turkish team Aliaga Petkim.
Analysis: Jones played briefly last season in Puerto Rico, averaging 13.7 points in seven games. The chances of him returning to the NBA are slim to none, so continue to ignore him in Fantasy play.
News:The Sports Xchange notes that Bucks G Damon Jones didn't get off the bench again against the Pacers Wednesday night, despite the Bucks being shorthanded at the shooting guard position with Michael Redd out for the season. It was the third straight DNP-CD for Jones.
Analysis: Jones, 32, a 10-year NBA veteran, is not someone to be considering for Fantasy right now. If he cannot get into the game when the Bucks need someone at his position desperately, he's not going to be apart of the team's plans this season.
News:The Sports Xchange notes that Bucks G Damon Jones, whom the Bucks acquired in an offseason trade with Cleveland, made his first appearance of the season Wednesday against Dallas. Jones, who played in all 82 games for the Bucks during the 2003-2004 season, got a rousing ovation from the Bradley Center crowd when he entered the game in the fourth quarter. Jones quickly hit a 3-pointer, his only basket in the game. He wound up playing seven minutes.
Analysis: Jones, 32, a 10-year NBA veteran, is not someone to be considering for Fantasy right now. He's not going to get much more playing time than he did on Wednesday. Keep him on waivers.
News: Milwaukee Bucks guard Damon Jones rejoined the team for its game Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons. Jones was obtained on Aug. 13 in a three-team trade that brought Luke Ridnour from Oklahoma City and sent Mo Williams to Cleveland. Jones was obtained from Cleveland due to salary purposes, but had never participated with the team by mutual agreement as the Bucks worked with his agent in an attempt to trade him. When a deal never materialized, Jones reported to the team on Saturday night, and was inactive.
Analysis: Jones, 32, a 10-year NBA veteran, has a $4.66 million contract that expires at the end of the season. It is his second stint with the Bucks. He played in all 82 of their games during the 2003-04 season. Until he contributes, leave him on waivers.
News:The Sports Xchange reports that Damon Jones, whom the Bucks acquired during the offseason in a trade with Cleveland, didn't report to camp. It was a mutual decision, as Jones probably would have been the third shooting guard behind Michael Redd and Charlie Bell.
Analysis: Some teams have expressed interest in Jones' services, and it is believed the Bucks are willing to split Jones' salary of $4.46 million for this season. For the moment, he is a player that should be avoided in Fantasy leagues.
News: The Bucks will receive Damon Jones from Cleveland along with guard Luke Ridnour and forward Adrian Griffin from Oklahoma City in a three-team trade that is expected to be finalized soon.
Analysis: Jones continues to be mildly appealing as a low-end option in Rotisserie hoops leagues because he can knock down a couple of threes per night. Unfortunately, he'll drag down your numbers elsewhere. Fantasy owners should expect more of the same in 2008-09.
News: Cavaliers G Damon Jones averaged six points per game for the third consecutive season in Cleveland. He added 1.9 apg and 1.1 rpg while making 2.3 three-pointers per night.
Analysis: Jones continues to be mildly appealing as a low-end option in Rotisserie hoops leagues because he knock down a couple of threes per night. Unfortunately, he'll drag down your numbers elsewhere. Fantasy owners should expect more of the same in 2008-09.
News: Cavaliers G Damon Jones, starting at the two Friday against the Wizards with the Cavs' new acquisitions unable to play yet, scored a season-high 27 points, shooting 7-for-11 from 3-point range. He also had four assists.
Analysis: Normally, Jones is a minor contributor off the bench, averaging 5.9 points and 1.5 assists. He showed he has the ability to step up when necessary, but we don't think he'll have much of a chance once the new players enter the mix. Leave him on waivers in all but the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: Cavaliers reserve PG Damon Jones, who left Sunday's game with a sprained ankle, played Monday at Orlando. He finished with two points and one assist.
Analysis: Jones is a minor contributor off the bench, averaging 6.3 points and 1.5 assists. Leave him on waivers in all but the deepest of Fantasy leagues.

Analysis: Jones is a minor contributor off the bench, averaging 6.3 points and 1.5 assists. Leave him on waivers in all but the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: Cavs PG Damon Jones came off the bench Thursday against the Sonics to score 15 points in 28 minutes. He went 5 of 12 from the field, with all five field goals coming from 3-point distance. Jones also had three rebounds and one assist while scoring in double figures for just the second time in six games.
Analysis: The 15 points Thursday were the most for Jones since he scored a season-high 17 points Nov. 24. He took advantage of some extra playing time with LeBron James (ankle) on the bench. Jones is a 3-point specialist off the bench for Cleveland, but has little to no Fantasy value.
News: Cavs PG Damon Jones was perfect from the field Thursday against the Cavs as he hit on all three of his field goals for seven points in 19 minutes off the bench. He also had two rebounds as he scored less than 10 points for the sixth straight game.
Analysis: Jones was not a favorite of head coach Mike Brown from mid-December to early January. Jones did not see action in eight of nine games from Dec. 17-Jan. 4. He has played in the last six games and has redeemed himself by playing strong off the bench. Still, he doesn't produce enough to matter in Fantasy leagues.
News: The last time Cleveland coach Mike Brown tried to put him in a game -- vs. Miami on Christmas Day -- he begged off, touching off a firestorm of controversy. When called upon on Sunday in Toronto, he was smart enough to go in, according to the Sports Xchange. He missed seven consecutive games but buried two key 3-pointers in the Cavs' 93-90 come-from-behind victory over the Raptors. Even more, the two baskets he made helped spread the floor for LeBron James' penetration. "They were double-teaming LeBron too much," Brown said. "They were collapsing on LeBron. I wanted to shake loose their defense by putting one more shooter on the floor. It was time to call his number. He came through for us."
Analysis: Even with the appearance Jones should only be considered a low-end Fantasy guard at this time.
News: According to reports, Damon Jones refused to enter Tuesday's win over Miami with a minute left in the game. His time with the Cavaliers appears to be at an end.
Analysis: Jones is asking to be released from the team and his days with the Cavs appear to be over. That could be said for his Fantasy value, but it's been a while since he's been relevant anyway. Keep him on the waiver wire in all leagues until further notice.
News: Cavaliers reserve PG Damon Jones had a season-high 17 points Saturday against the Raptors, including 15 on five threes. He also had three assists in 33 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Jones got hot -- plain and simple. He came into the game averaging 6.2 points per game and doesn't deserve a place on a Fantasy roster except in the deepest of leagues.
News: Cavaliers PG Damon Jones shot 3-for-5 from the field, including 2-for-4 from beyond the arc, in Wednesday's opener vs. Dallas. He finished with eight points, a rebound and a steal.
Analysis: Jones logged just 16 minutes off the bench and didn't play a big role in the game. He did, however, take the most three-pointers for the Cavs and remains a considerable source of 3-point shooting for Rotisserie-league owners.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones averaged just 6.6 ppg in 60 apperances during the regular season. He averaged 38.6 percent from beyong the arc, which is known to be his specialty.
Analysis: Jones has been a disappointment in his two seasons in Cleveland after coming off a breakout season with the Miami Heat in 2004-05 in which he averaged a career-high 11.6 ppg. His specialty continues to be the three-ball, making him a decent No. 4 guard in Rotisserie formats.
News: The trade deadline came and went Feb. 22. Guard Damon Jones is still in Cleveland, at least until the end of the season. Even though he has two more years on his contract after this season, he could be involved in trade talk over the summer. The Cavs were actively trying to deal the combo guard leading up to the trade deadline, and that wouldn't have been a bad thing for Jones. He had fallen completely out of coach Mike Brown's rotation. "This is my ninth year in the NBA, and I realize it's a business," Jones said. "Sometimes (for teams) to make things work, you get at it. I was rumored for a lot of different places. From what I hear, a lot of possible deals came down to the last 35 to 40 minutes." One possible destination was Phoenix in exchange for Marcus Banks. Another might have been Sacramento.
Analysis: Jones did not play Tuesday against New Orleans. He has minimal Fantasy value at this point because he's not getting enough playing time. Maybe a trade is what he needs.
News: Damon Jones (strep throat) was able to play Sunday at Miami after being listed as doubftul for the contest. He finished with just three points.
Analysis: When healthy, he's been a bit of a disappointment. His value is derived from his three-point shooting, but he hasn't seen many minutes of late. He logged just under 10 minutes on Sunday.
News: Backup Damon Jones is doubtful for Sunday's game at Miami because of strep throat. He has missed the last two games.
Analysis: Jones will be day to day after that. When healthy, he's been a bit of a disappointment. His value is derived from his three-point shooting, but he hasn't seen many minutes of late.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones (strep throat) was inactive for the second straight game Thursday vs. Chicago.
Analysis: Jones is considered day to day. When healthy, he's been a bit of a disappointment. His value is derived from his three-point shooting, but he hasn't seen many minutes of late.
News: According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cavs coach Mike Brown is unsure when G Damon Jones will be able to play again. "I don't know, it's a sore throat, strep throat. ... I just wait to listen to what my doctors and trainers say," Brown said.
Analysis: Jones hasn't been productive enough to use in Fantasy leagues even when healthy. He should certainly be reserved in all leagues until he can return and prove productive.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones (illness) did not play Wednesday against the Raptors.
Analysis: Jones remains day to day. When healthy, he is merely a low-end scoring option in the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: The Cavaliers said guard Damon Jones has strep throat and didn't practice on Tuesday. He's listed as questionable Wednesday against the Raptors.
Analysis: Keep Jones reserved in all Fantasy leagues. He has minimal Fantasy value at this time.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones averaged just 7.2 ppg and 1.6 apg heading into the All-Star break.
Analysis: Jones fell down the depth chart in the first half and is no longer much of a Fantasy option. He didn't do very well in the 3-point Shootout in Las Vegas, either.
News: Cavs guard Damon Jones might be headed to the Three-Point Shootout during All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas, but he's having trouble getting minutes in coach Mike Brown's rotation. He has played a total of 24 minutes in the previous three games (before the Lakers). He's also shooting just 18.2 percent from the three-point line in the previous four games (2 of 11).
Analysis: Unless you're using Jones for three-pointers, he has minimal Fantasy value at this time. Keep him reserved in all formats.
News: Dirk Nowitzki will face Gilbert Arenas again in the 3-point contest during the NBA's All-Star weekend next week, the league announced on Thursday. Jason Terry, Nowitzki's Dallas teammate, also is back after failing to advance to the final round last year. Rounding out the field are Miami's Jason Kapono, who leads the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage at 55.9 percent; Mike Miller of the Memphis Grizzlies; and Damon Jones of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Analysis: Nowitzki won the event last year in Houston, beating Arenas 18-16 in the final. The contest will be in Las Vegas on Feb. 17, followed a day later by the All-Star game. The league's best three-point shooters will be on display and Rotisserie-league owners should take not. These are some of the best options for help in that category.
News: Damon Jones, who was having his best season with the Cavaliers, has found himself locked to the bench. He's no longer the first guard off the bench in coach Mike Brown's rotation. Jones played just five minutes on Sunday, missing two shots. "I guess from a team standpoint, we haven't been playing consistent basketball and we haven't been winning," Jones said. "We're looking for something to give us a spark and get us on that right track. My main concern is winning basketball games."
Analysis: Jones was plagued by back spasms earlier in the season, and then a touch of tendinitis in his knee. But that's not the reason he's been grounded. "I'm 1,000 percent healthy," he said. Avoid using him until he can get back into the regular rotation.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones had five points, one rebound and one assist off the bench in a loss to the Heat Thursday.
Analysis: Jones continues to be a decent source for 3-point shooting in Rotisserie leagues, but has also been useful as a low-end Fantasy guard in head-to-head formats. But when he doesn't get many chances to score, he has games like Thursday.
News: Larry Hughes and Damon Jones had 16 points apiece for Cleveland, which after losing for the fourth time in five games, reached the midway point of the season at 24-17 -- the same record it had last season.
Analysis: Jones also had a pair of rebounds and four 3-pointers against the Magic on Monday. Jones continues to be an excellent source for 3-point shooting in Rotisserie leagues, but has also been useful as a No. 4 Fantasy guard in head-to-head formats.
News: Damon Jones' streak of seven consecutive games with two or more 3-point goals was snapped by the Blazers. He missed two 3-pointers on Wednesday.
Analysis: Jones continues to be an excellent source for three-point shooting in Rotisserie leagues, but has also been able to be useful as a No. 4 Fantasy guard in head-to-head formats.
News: Damon Jones is shooting 50 percent from behind the arc (16 of 32) since Jan. 3. He's made at least two 3-pointers in each of the last six games.
Analysis: He leads all NBA reserves with 66 3-pointers. Continue to use him in Rotisserie leagues as a great resource for help in the three-point categories.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones is tied for third among current players in consecutive games played with Detroit's Tayshaun Prince with 279. Spurs swingman Bruce Bowen is first (389), and Sixers guard Andre Miller is second (317). Jones continued his streak on Thursday against the Suns. He had six points and two rebounds in the game.
Analysis: Jones can be a terrific shooter and a nice Fantasy option when things are going well, but he is far too inconsistent to rely on heavily. He's a must-own in Rotisserie formats, though, for his help in the three-point category.
News: Damon Jones made two 3-pointers and four free throws in the final 1:35 as the Cavs, who have struggled on the road, improved to 14-3 at home and beat the Spurs for the second time this season on Tuesday. Jones scored all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter.

News: Cavs G Damon Jones contributed just five points off the bench Wednesday at Atlanta in just over 20 minutes of action.
Analysis: Jones can be a terrific shooter and a nice Fantasy option when things are going well, but he is far too inconsistent to rely on heavily. He's a must-own in Rotisserie formats, though, for his help in the three-point category.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones (back) was able to play on Saturday against the Magic.
Analysis: When healthy, Jones is best used in Rotisserie formats because he is a pretty good shooter from beyond the arc. Other than that, he doesn't do much else.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones left Thursday's game against the Pistons in the fourth quarter with back spasms. Prior to leaving the game, he played for 15 minutes, had three points and two rebounds.
Analysis: When healthy, Jones is best used in Rotisserie formats because he is a pretty good shooter from beyond the arc. Other than that, he doesn't do much else.
News: Heat G Damon Jones has hit two or more three-point shots in nine of the last 12 games.

Analysis: Jones can be a terrific shooter and a nice Fantasy option when things are going well, but he is far too inconsistent to rely on heavily. He's a must-own in Rotisserie formats, though, for his help in the three-point category.
News: After four straight games in which Damon Jones scored at least 10 points, he's reached that mark only once in his last three games.
Analysis: Jones can be a terrific shooter and a nice Fantasy option when things are going well, but he is far too inconsistent to rely on heavily. He's a must-own in Rotisserie formats, though, for his help in the three-point category.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones scored 21 points on Tuesday against Memphis. He also had one rebound and four assists.
Analysis: Because of his more assertive play, Jones is having a bounce-back season. He has now scored in double-figures in four of the past five games and has scored more than 20 points in two of those contests. Fantasy owners have been able to rely on him for more than just 3-point shooting, making him a viable option in all head-to-head leagues.
News: Cavaliers guard Damon Jones fired in 11 points and added two assists and one steal against Minnesota on Saturday. Twice he took opposing players off the dribble and drove all the way to the basket. "I just want to be assertive, not just a guy who's out there spotting up 3-point shots," Jones said. "I can do more than that. I've done more than that in my career."
Analysis: Because of his more assertive play, he's having a bounce-back season. Fantasy owners have been able to rely on him for more than just 3-point shooting, making him a viable option in all head-to-head leagues.
News: Guard Damon Jones came off the bench to score 29 points on 7-for-10 shooting from behind the arc in the Cavaliers' 102-96 win over the Knicks on Monday. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Jones has a career average of 3.22 three-point field goals per 48 minutes, the second-highest average in NBA history (minimum: 10,000 minutes). The all-time leader is Dennis Scott (3.24).
Analysis: Jones is especially good in leagues that reward 3-pointers heavily, but he can also be ueseful as a short-term replacement No. 4 guard in leagues of 12-plus teams.
News: LeBron James and Damon Jones took turns carrying Cleveland and scored 29 points apiece, leading the Cavaliers over the New York Knicks 102-96 Monday night for their third straight victory. "I had a good first half and hopefully it opened up some avenues for LeBron in the second half," Jones said. "He did his thing down the stretch, as usual."
Analysis: Jones kept Cleveland in the game in the first half with 24 points, and made seven 3-pointers in what was easily his best game of the season. Jones hadn't been a factor at all this season -- his 29 points were two more than he had scored in the first six games. But he has 7-of-10 behind the arc, capitalizing on the open room the Knicks left him while they were focusing on James. Damon Jones is especially good in leagues that reward 3-pointers heavily.
News: Guard Damon Jones (upper respiratory infection) and forward Donyell Marshall (sore left wrist) missed practice on Friday. Both played in Saturday's game against Boston, though.
Analysis: Both players appear healthy enough to remain active for the upcoming scoring period. The Cavs will play four games next week, making both players above-average starts.
News: Cavaliers G Damon Jones had eight points, two rebounds and two assists in Thursday's win over the Bulls.
Analysis: Jones has not been a scoring threat to open the season and is not a strong Fantasy option in most formats.
News: Cavaliers G Damon Jones shot just 2-for-9 from the floor in Wednesday's season-opening win vs. Washington.
Analysis: Jones shot only 2-for-6 from beyon the arc, his specialty. Continue to start him in Rotisserie formats for help in the 3-point category despite the cold start.
News: The Cavs will start the season with several players on their bench with a chance to make some sort of Fantasy impact this season. G David Wesley, G Damon Jones, F Donyell Marshall, and C Anderson Varejao should have some measure of value this year.
Analysis: The two veteran guards have been around the block and know how to play, making them viable opttions as short-term replacements or as reserves. Marshall wants to improve on last season's performance and Varejao has "star" written all over him. Don't stop at LeBron James when going through the Cavs' depth chart looking for Fantasy talent.
News: Larry Hughes and Zydrunas Ilgauskas each scored 14 points and Damon Jones added 12 to help the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 91-82 preseason victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday night. The Cavaliers were without LeBron James, who was given the night off by coach Mike Brown.
Analysis: Don't expect the Cavs to give LeBron much of a chance to hurt himself in the preaseason. He remains our consensus No. 1 overall choice in Fantasy Basketball and he should be drafted as such in any format. Ilgauskas remains a No. 1 Fantasy center in any league and Larry Hughes should once again be considered a nice No. 2 or 3 guard since he is at 100 percent health. Consider Damon Jones an option in leagues as a 3-point threat, but his scoring will have to become more steady for him to be a reliable every week starter. Donyell Marshall, Drew Gooden and Anderson Varejao all have aspects of their game that can be valuable to Fantsasy owners in deeper formats and can be considered decent picks in the lower rounds.
News: Cavaliers guard Damon Jones won't be charged in the investigation of an Arizona woman's claim that he committed a sexual offense against her. "Barring any new information, our investigation is closed with no charges," Westlake police Capt. Guy Turner said Wednesday. The 23-year-old woman, who was visiting Cleveland, filed a complaint against Jones when she returned to Chandler, Ariz., alleging an offense was committed March 3. The Arizona Department of Public Safety analyzed evidence and results were negative for the presence of male DNA. The woman was unable to describe any sex act, where it may have taken place or who was involved, police said.
Analysis: "Numerous interviews with witnesses, including a professional athlete, consistently have not revealed an opportunity for a sex offense to have occurred," Turner said. Jones has been red-hot from downtown recently, when he's on -- he's among the best 3-point shooters in the league. He has nice value in roto-style leagues that consider 3-pointers.
News: Damon Jones scored 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting with six dimes and five 3-balls in 29 minutes on Sunday in Houston.
Analysis: Jones has been red-hot from downtown recently, when he's on -- he's among the best 3-point shooters in the league. He has nice value in roto-style leagues that consider 3-pointers.
News: Damon Jones scored 12 points off 4-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc Wednesday vs. Charlotte.
Analysis: Jones is 10-for-22 from long range over his last five contests. He's most useful in Rotisserie leagues, but he'll only be helpful in that category.
News: Cleveland Cavaliers guard Damon Jones has been interviewed by police after an Arizona woman reported a possible sexual offense. Jones, who signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the Cavs last summer, denied wrongdoing before Tuesday night's game against Toronto. "I am fully aware of the false accusations that have been made against me," Jones said. "I've been very cooperative with the Westlake police and their investigation of this whole matter. When the investigation is over I feel like I will be vindicated of all charges. Until the investigation is over I will not be making any more public statements because I don't want to put the Westlake police's investigation in any jeopardy at all." Earlier in the day, police in Westlake -- a suburb 15 miles west of Cleveland -- released a statement saying that they were investigating a possible sex offense. According to an incident report from the agency, the alleged incident is to have occurred late Friday or early Saturday and did not involve a weapon. Police would not identify the person who filed the complaint or say how or even if it involved Jones.
Analysis: "It is unclear at this time what behavior (if any) took place in Westlake and whether that behavior constitutes an offense," the statement said. "One person who may have had some role in the matter is a professional athlete. That person has been cooperative in the investigation." Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry released a statement during the second half of Tuesday's game saying the team would not comment during the investigation. Jones missed practice Monday with flu-like symptoms. Jones, 29, is averaging 6.8 points and 1.9 assists for the Cavaliers. He was brought in to help Cleveland's woeful outside shooting but has struggled with his shot. Last month, Jones became the first NBA player to sign an endorsement contract with Li-Ning, China's largest sports apparel maker.

According to an incident report from the agency, the alleged incident is to have occurred late Friday or early Saturday and did not involve a weapon. He hasn't been doing much shooting on the court, either. Fantasy owners should be wary of his troubles.
News: Damon Jones enters the All-Star break after scoring in double digits in four of his last five games. He has also made at least one 3-pointer in every game since Jan. 24 vs. Indiana.
Analysis: Jones has been a major disappointment this season but he has the potential to help Fantasy teams as a 3-point specialist even when struggling. The fact that he's playing better is a great sign for the second half.
News: Cavs G Damon Jones, a journeyman who spent last season with Miami, is anxious to see how he'll be received by Heat fans in his first game there since leaving as a free agent last summer. "I'm not even nervous about the game, just the fan reaction," said Jones, who described his one year in South Florida as "the best of my 29 years." Jones, too, would like to meet with Heat coach Pat Riley, who was angered by comments Jones made earlier this season after Stan Van Gundy quit as Miami's coach. "Hopefully, we can go back to being bestest buds," Jones said.
Analysis: Pavlovic is currently ahead of Jones on the depth chart. However, if Damon keeps logging 30-plus minutes off the bench, he has value as a 3-point specialist.
News: Damon Jones scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with three 3-pointers in 31 minutes on Sunday afternoon vs. Phoenix.
Analysis: Pavlovic is currently ahead of Jones on the depth chart. However, if Damon keeps logging 30-plus minutes off the bench, he has value as a 3-point specialist.
News: According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Damon Jones believes he should be selected to participate in this year's three-point competition despite being in a shooting slump. "Of course I should. All good shooters come out of slumps. You want to put the best 3-point shooters in the contest and I'm still the best 3-point shooter in the world, period. If I'm selected, I'll win it."
Analysis: If only his stat totals were as big as his mouth. He's had every chance in the world to produce in Cleveland the way he did in Miami a year ago, but he's fallen well short each time. He is an excellent shooter, no one doubts that, but his shot has not been falling as often as it did last year.
News: Damon Jones scored five points on 2-of-4 shooting on Saturday in Phoenix.
Analysis: He's getting big minutes (34 on Sat.) but not producing. He has a ton of immediate upside, but it's hard to recommend him for the upcoming scoring period.
News: Damon Jones did not score on Tuesday at the L.A. Lakers. He has scored a combined 27 points in his last nine games.
Analysis: D.J. is supposed to be a three-point specialist, but he has not converted more than one in a game since Dec. 22. He was supposed to see a boost in value with Larry Hughes on the shelf for a while, but that just hasn't been the case. Consider other options until Jones can get on some kind of a roll.
News: Damon Jones played 33 minutes but only scored three points on 1-of-7 shooting on Thursday night vs. Houston.
Analysis: Damon Jones should continue to start in Hughes' place and should be owned in all leagues despite being ice cold at the moment.
News: Larry Hughes is out for 6-8 weeks with a broken finger. Damon Jones got a start in place of Hughes but only scored three points in 31 minutes on Wednesday at Milwaukee.
Analysis: Damon Jones should continue to start in Hughes' place and should be owned in all leagues despite being ice cold at the moment.
News: Damon Jones got a start in place of Larry Hughes but only scored three points in 31 minutes on Wednesday at Milwaukee.
Analysis: He has been ice cold and shouldn't be starting for Fantasy teams right now.
News: Damon Jones was 0-for-4 from the field on Saturday vs. Detroit. He did add six rebounds and an assist in the effort.
Analysis: Jones is as erratic as they come this season in the NBA. Don't rely too heavily on him.
News: A night after scoring 15 points on Thursday at Chicago, Damon Jones scored only six points on Friday vs. Indiana.
Analysis: Jones is as erratic as they come this season in the NBA. Don't rely too heavily on him, but he has the potential to contribute excellent numbers at some point.
News: Damon Jones scored 15 points on Thursday at Chicago. He was 5-for-11 from three-point range.
Analysis: Jones has been taking more shots from outside the arc of late, which is his specialty. He's a valuable source for threes and could become even more valuable throughout the season.
News: Damon Jones has made 44 3-pointers this season, ranking him at No. 11 in the league.
Analysis: He doesn't do much else, but Damon will continue to help in the 3-pointer category.
News: Damon Jones scored 17 points on Thursday vs. Denver. He made five 3-pointers brought down three rebounds in the effort.
Analysis: Jones has sprinkled games like this through the season, but he has yet to be consistent. He has the potential to be an excellent option as a Fantasy guard, but he's not there yet.
News: Damon Jones is averaging only 8.2 ppg in 23.9 minutes per contest so far during his first season with the Cavaliers. Last year, he averaged 31.4 mpg and 11.6 ppg with the Heat.
Analysis: He's also way off pace from 3-point range, which is supposed to be his specialty. Last season, he hit 225 3-pointers and this season he's on pace to hit just over 150. He has the potential to make a Fantasy impact, but he isn't a recommended start until he gets into a groove.
