Hilton Armstrong signs 10-day deal with Golden State

(2/22/2014) The Warriors signed center Hilton Armstrong to a 10-day contract on Saturday, USA Today reports. Armstrong was waived by the Warriors in late December. He played only 28 minutes over seven appearances, tallying six points and 16 rebounds.

(12/30/2013) The Warriors have waived center Hilton Armstrong, the team announced Sunday. He was playing under a non-guaranteed deal that would have become guaranteed had he not been waived by Jan. 7, USA Today Sports.

Armstrong has played 28 minutes over seven appearances, tallying six points and 16 rebounds.

(12/11/2013) The Warriors are bringing up forward Hilton Armstrong from Santa Cruz of the D-League, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Armstrong hasn't played in the NBA since the 2010-2011 season. He averaged 13.4 points, 6.8 rebound and 2.2 blocks in 29 games with Santa Cruz last season.

(2/23/2011) Washington traded point guard Kirk Hinrich and C Hilton Armstrong to Atlanta on Wednesday. The duo goes to Atlanta for Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and a first-round draft pick. Armstrong has averaged 10 minutes per game this year for the Wizards and was putting up 1.9 points and 2.8 boards per contest.

Armstrong has only appeared in 40 games on the year and is averaging 1.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in those contests. His most productive game this season came on opening night, when he scored five points and grabbed two rebounds in a loss to the Magic.

The big man played 11 minutes, making 1 of his 2 shots from the field and nailing 2 of his 3 foul shots. He would finish with four points, four rebounds and one block for the Wizards. Washington would go on to beat Indiana, 104-90.

(12/27/2010) Washington center Hilton Armstrong had 13 rebounds in Sunday's loss to San Antonio. He sprained his right foot when he landed awkwardly trying to block Spurs guard Gary Neal's shot with eight minutes in the fourth quarter. Armstrong didn't return and is day to day. He got the start because Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee were both suspended for the game. Armstrong finished with six points on a 1-for-5 shooting performance and knocking down all four foul shots. He would add two assists in his 29 minutes of court time.

(11/29/2010) Washington C Hilton Armstrong got the start on Monday against the Heat in Miami with JaVale McGee coming off the bench due to an injury. Armstrong couldn't remain in the game throughout, however, as he was ejected in the third quarter for committing a flagrant 2 on Joel Anthony of the Heat. Juwan Howard retaliated and was also ejected. Armstrong played just 17 minutes and shot 0 for 1 from the field as he failed to score. He grabbed four rebounds and added a steal.

(11/29/2010) Wizards C Hilton Armstrong was ejected from Monday's game against the Heat in the third quarter after committing a flagrant foul on C Joel Anthony. Armstrong pushed Anthony in the back as he went up for an attempt, sending Anthony hard to the ground. Miami F Juwan Howard retaliated by shoving Armstrong in the back after the play. Both players were ejected. Armstrong, who got the start in place of C JaVale McGee on Monday night, finished with four rebounds and one steal but did not score a point, missing his lone attempt from the field.

(11/29/2010) The Washington Post reports that Wizards C JaVale McGee did not participate in his team's morning walkthrough in Miami and he is considered questionable for Monday night's game at the Heat. He awoke Monday with "unbearable pain" in his back and head. If he cannot start Monday night's game, Hilton Armstrong would start in his place.

(2/18/2010) The Rockets and Kings have agreed in principle to a deal that would send Kevin Martin to Houston, two sources confirmed to CBSSports.com's Ken Berger, while Tracy McGrady would go to the Kings or Knicks depending on whether the trade expands into a three-team deal. Details of the agreement were still emerging early Thursday, but one of the sources indicated that the Rockets' aggressive pursuit of a landing spot for McGrady and his $23 million contract may not have taken its last turn before the 3 p.m. EST Thursday deadline. A second person involved in the process was hopeful that McGrady would be rerouted to New York, the former All-Star's preferred destination. The players involved in the initial version of the deal were Martin, Kenny Thomas, Sergio Rodriguez and Hilton Armstrong leaving the Kings, with the Rockets contributing McGrady, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey.
