Report: Mavericks interested in Ryan Hollins

(7/14/2015) The Mavericks are interested in free agent center Ryan Hollins, according to a report by Yahoo Sports, citing a source.

Coach Rick Carlisle recently contacted Hollins by phone to express the team's interest in signing him. 

Hollins averaged 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds with the Kings last season.

Hollins was considered a reserve for Friday's game, but was later announced as out. He is averaging 2.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game this season.

Cousins is dealing with a sprained left ankle and left hip contusion, which has kept him out of the last two games. In 43 games, Cousins is averaging 23.7 points and 12.2 rebounds.

The Kings are 3-point favorites.

Cousins is dealing with a right ankle sprain which caused him to miss Saturday’s loss to the Clippers. Ryan Hollins started in place of Cousins and scored two points and grabbed five rebounds. Sessions last played Dec. 22 after suffering a lower back strain.

The Kings are 10-point underdogs.
