by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(7/3/2014) The Raptors will return most of their roster that made a run in the playoffs last season, as guard Kyle Lowry has agree to return on a four-year contract as a free agent.

Lowry's deal will pay him $48 million, and multiple outlets have reported it will contain an early-termination option after the third season. Lowry is coming off the best season of his career, as he averaged 17.9 points, 7.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game in 79 games.

Kyle Lowry and Luol Deng might be out of Miami's price range

by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(7/1/2014) Two of Miami's top free agent targets may be financially out of reach, according to multiple reports. ESPN reports that Luol Deng won't be willing to go under his market value to join the Heat, and the starting point of the Raptors' talks with Kyle Lowry is said to be in the $12 million range.

Neither of those seems like a doable scenarios for Miami considering LeBron James reportedly wants a max deal and they still have to find reasonable numbers for Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. We'll never rule anything out when it comes to a dealing Pat Riley, but it's looking like Miami will have to go the cheaper/older route in free agency.

Meanwhile, NBA Insider Ken Berger reports that the Hawks, Mavericks and Clippers are in pursuit of Deng, and Lowry is supposedly a lock to return to Toronto despite fielding interest from several teams.
