Morrison headed to Turkey


(1/5/2012) Free agent F Adam Morrison, who had spent the lockout playing in Serbia before coming back to try to catch on in the NBA, is reportedly headed to Turkey to play for Besiktas, according to SI.com. Morrison averaged 15.5 points while playing in Serbia. He last played in the NBA for the Lakers back in the 2009-10 season and averaged 2.4 points in 31 games for Los Angeles.

Morrison NBA bound once again?


(11/29/2011) According to ProBasketballTalk.com, F Adam Morrison was released from his contract in Serbia on Tuesday in order to try and return to the NBA. Morrsion, who singed a one-year deal worth $350,000 with the Red Star club back in October, averaged 15.5 points while playing in Serbia. He last played for the Lakers back in the 2009-10 season and averaged 2.4 points in 31 games for Los Angeles.

(10/21/2010) The Wizards waived SF Adam Morrison on Thursday. Morrison averaged 5.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in four preseason games.

(9/28/2010) Free agent F Adam Morrison has accepted an invitation to training camp from the Washington Wizards. He averaged just 2.4 points and 1.0 rebound per game in 31 appearances for the Lakers a season ago.

(11/2/2009) The Los Angeles Times reports that the Lakers did not give contract extensions to Jordan Farmar or Adam Morrison, making them both restricted free agents in July. The Lakers had until today to reach an agreement with each player.

Howard deals with sore toe


(2/4/2009) Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace is expected to be out until the All-Star break and maybe longer with a broken rib and collapsed lung. Adam Morrison has struggled filling in for Wallace at small forward. The Bobcats could move Boris Diaw to that spot and start Juwan Howard at power forward, but Howard missed practice Wednesday with a sore toe.

(2/2/2009) The Charlotte Observer reports Monday that Bobcats coach Larry Brown says he'll start Adam Morrison on Monday night against the Jazz, but it's obvious from how much Juwan Howard is practicing with the starters that Morrison is on a short leash. Morrison's confidence appears shaky after he struggled the past two games as a fill-in starter for the injured Gerald Wallace.

(2/2/2009) Charlotte forward Gerald Wallace, who suffered a collapsed lung and broken rib in a collision with Lakers center Andrew Bynum last week and was expected to remain in the Los Angeles area Monday, will miss the Bobcats' game Monday at Utah. The Charlotte Observer reports Juwan Howard will start at power forward for the Bobcats, with Boris Diaw being shifted to small forward. Adam Morrison will return to the bench.

Morrison starts for Wallace


(1/29/2009) Bobcats forward Adam Morrison started in place of Gerald Wallace on Wednesday at Portland. Wallace suffered a partially collapsed left lung and fractured rib in the victory over the Lakers. Charlotte released a statement Wednesday saying that Wallace had 30 to 40 percent of his left lung collapse as well as a non-displaced fracture of the fifth rib. Morrison played 26 minutes and finished with four points, one rebound and one assist. The Sports Xchange notes that Bobcats coach Larry Brown believes Morrison has lost his confidence.

(1/24/2009) According to The Sports Xchange, Bobcats F Adam Morrison can't do much. He was 0-of-2 in garbage time versus the Suns in a 98-76 blowout victory on Friday.
