Marco Belinelli losing his role

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/4/2014) Spurs guard Marco Belinelli scored in double figures Tuesday against the Cavaliers, but still saw a limited role for the second straight game.

Belinelli played just 19 minutes in the blowout win, just two days after logging just 17 off the bench. He managed to score 11 points despite shooting 3 of 8 from the field, with all five of his misses coming from three-point range, thanks to a 5-for-5 mark at the free-throw line. He added three rebounds and two assists in the 122-101 win.

Belinelli is putting together one of the best seasons of his career, but his production is likely to take a hit down the stretch with the team fully healthy. He is still averaging 11.6 points per game, just below his career high.

Marco Belinelli catches fire to win three-point contest

(2/16/2014) Spurs guard Marco Belinelli is enjoying the best shooting season of his career, and he used his sweet stroke to win the three-point contest at Saturday's All-Star weekend event.
